It’s as advertised and does the job it’s meant to do.

The transparency is excellent on this ruler and even though the inch lines are a little thicker than I would like and opaque, there is transparency with 4 thin lines at each intersection of the inches so it is easier than some to line up. I don't know if I am just backwards the way I use a ruler, but I usually start at the top right corner and measure from right to left and top to bottom. I prefer the number 1 to be at that corner. Many of these sewing rulers start with the highest number at that top right corner including this one. The one starts at the top left corner so it may be better for south paws.

Exactly the size I needed

Every now and then you need a smaller ruler in quilting!
