It is a watery consistency as opposed to the thicker spfs we are used to here in America. It works, too. I wore it to the beach and was in the water a couple of hours with no sunburn and I'm paste-y white ;}

I use this every day and have turned everyone I know onto it. It's not too thick, it doesn't leave me greasy, it lasts forever, it's a good price, and I never get sunburnt.
