Firstly, this is MONO cassette player - I verified this in Audacity by inverting one channel and mixing it with the other and there is ZERO difference.Playback through headphones is awful - there is a lot of elecrical noise from the motor, a persistent hiss, and mechanical noise if you handle it while it's playing.This is a cheap and disappointing product.
