Improved reception at our rural home and provides outputs for multiple TVs.
This amp works very well to extend the reception of the passive antenna at our rural home. We still have 3 open outputs for the bedrooms and kitchen and we'll get to those soon. This product is built to last a lifetime with quality materials and it definitely does the job as advertised.

Quality product that works extremely well.
This powered TV amplifier works extremely well. At high gain, it increased the number of digital channels received from 20 to 38 and significantly improved picture quality to cable channel level. The device offers 2 levels of amplification: low and high gain. High gain provided the best results for me given my antenna being located in the attic and the distance to the broadcasting towers (45-55 miles). It was easy to install and very well made. I highly recommend the product.

Helps with Weak Signal Reception
Am using this in front of an HDHomerun tuner with a cheap outdoor directional antenna and it helps a lot with the signal reception in a rural area with few obstructions. Am able to pick up a 5 kilowatt transmitter at roughly 40 miles. Interestingly, it works better when installed directly in front of the tuner instead of being in close proximity to the antenna. Would purchase again if the need arose.

Best way to get free tv from my antenna
It gets channels on a tv that struggled to get hardly any channels before install. It was very easy to install. A couple screws to hold it to the wall and some minor cable management makes for a great situation. I would say it’s the best signal amplifier I have ever gotten as I have tried others and returned them. On occasion the signal gets jumpy, but I would blame that on my rural location and neighbors trees. But great value as it works well.

Work great!
It works bringing in the weaker signals. There is a red/green light that comes on when it is plugged in. Check it before installing. I had a bad power splitter, or the power pack. They sent a replacement and it works perfect now. There is a YouTube video about the light.

Really gave me a strong signal!
My old booster quit working so I went to Walmart and bought a $30 one. I got 33 channels that would break up all the time. I then installed the channel master and I jumped to 77 channels that are locked on , Rock solid. It was money well spent.

absolutely did not work for me
Prior to installing this preamp, I was getting 136 channels on my HDHomeRun. Not all 136 channels were watchable though. I'm roughly 35-50 miles away from the towers. Reception mapping tools online show my reception will be "fair" or "weak" on basically all channels. My antenna is a Range Xperts Long Range antenna. I have a relatively short cable run (about 25ft) inside to the HDHomeRun.First, I'll note you need an extra coax cable than what comes with this kit. It includes 1 coax cable, but since you need to use their powered splitter, it requires another cable. I had to order a new cable just to try this preamp.Anyway, I installed it as the instructions show and did a scan. I got 20 channels with high gain. I switched it to low gain and got around 40 channels. All the channels I tried with the preamp were glitchy, even the ones that were solid before.Side note: the LED indicator light is supposed to change from green (low gain) to red (high gain) but mine stayed green. I noticed another review that mentioned the same.I tried researching my issue and the only conclusion I came to was that this preamp adds too much gain to my signal and overwhelms the HDHomeRun tuner. This doesn't make a lot of sense since the signal strength is only "fair" for most channels. Maybe the definition of "fair" is too vague. It'd be helpful if the manufacturer specified the conditions when it's appropriate to use this preamp. Not only is it expensive, but it typically takes most people a lot of time to add or change their antenna setup considering when done right, they are high off the ground and not easily accessible.Based on other reviews, this preamp seems to work for the most part. However, it obviously didn't work for me and in fact, made my reception way worse. I wish other reviewers would list important details, like how far their towers are, their cabling setup, etc. I sent this back for a refund.

A must have for antenna reception.
An amazing upgrade from what I was using. Channels no longer drop out and I was able to receive a few more. Customer support was awesome!
