The plastic pin that retains the float is so brittle it is difficult not to break it when cleaning the float as part of machine maintenance.

The plug was wrong. I had to cut the old one off and splice it in. It works ok. The cord was also way too long, so I cut that down too. The biggest disappointment is the wire. The gauge is a little smaller than the original. And the wire is copper, but the original was tinned copper for a more harsh environment. Also the insulation isn’t as good. When I spliced on the original plug I used a heat gun to shrink wrap the connectors. The insulation melted off the new wiring (not the old) so I had to re-do it and be more careful with the heat to not melt the insulation off. I used this on a Hoshizaki KM-115BAJ. But yes it fixed the machine.

Used it on our ice machine. Works as well as ones advertised for more money.
