what a vast improvement over the former fluorescent tubes. So much brighter, with none of the old buzzing. I had to rewire the units to accomodate these tubes. but the directions provided were easy to follow, and fast.

The good:I ordered four of these bulbs and they were delivered quickly and very well packaged in a sturdy cardboard tube with internal packing to keep them from getting knocked around in transit. They were easy to install and worked flawlessly, no burned out LED's. Great upgrade from the old fluorescents.The bad:This was my second purchase of 8 foot LED lights to upgrade the fluorescent lights in my shop. The first set were Barrina but they were out of stock so I ordered these. Both work well and are bright but the Barrina lights have a frosted lens so you get a solid diffused bar of light. These bulbs came with a clear lens. The result is slightly more lumens but you can see each individual LED and you get more glare even if not looking directly at the lights. If you do happen to glance at them you'll have stars on your eyes from the glare. This is less so with the frosted lens of the Barrina lights. For that reason I'm giving these four stars. Other than that I'm happy with the purchase. One more small item of note that applies to both brands, these lights don't have the rigidity of the glass fluorescents and tend to sag a bit in the middle. I used a cable tie to support them in the center but it seems like they could be made a bit more solid to eliminate the sagging.

Total waste of money. 1/2 of one tube went dead after a month (3 days past return window) Stay away.

Good value, as advertised, one of few w/ 5000 daylight that I wanted (6000 too bright/cold for me), like rotate feature, easy to install, delivered ahead of schedule.
