This is an average face mask and does not remove impurities to justify the price point. The very small quantity just does not justify an average product.

First things first -- this mask has minimal ingredients, no alcohol, and would also be great for those prone to acne and/or skin conditions such as seborrheic dermatitis (of course there are so many varieties there, so your mileage may vary). The active ingredients with this mask are coal+zinc+volcanic ash. In general, some anti-fungal properties, and moisturizing. Doesn't really leave the skin dry, and does a good job with exfoliating and cleansing. Again, great for those that might want to try some anti-yeast/fungal products. Very good!

The mask is thick and black and has tiny granules which feel like a scrub. It applies well and dries evenly and firms the skin. My face felt nice after I washed it off but I do have a zit today, not sure if its related or just random, so use with caution!

This charcoal mask has an earthy scent to it and some exfoliating properties within the clay-like product. Once washed away, skin felt smooth and clean. The packaging/tube I received looks different than what is pictured in listing so I reduced a star. Overall, feels very luxurious for a charcoal mask.

The instructions are in German but I was able to figure out how to use the mask. The mask goes on very thick but smooth and I left it on my face for about 30 minutes and removed it with a warm wet cloth and it came off very easily and my skin felt smooth. I've only used it twice but I'm enjoying it so far.
