I first want to say, my kiddos love it so that in itself is a success. When it first came, it did not work at all, then suddenly started working out of no where. Hard to tell when it's on/off, toy itself is soft, bottom is hard (not a good toy to cuddle with in bed). It will randomly listen to my kids, and usually when they shout at it. Has randomly started talking when no one was doing anything or near it... That was fun. Also does kind of dance like it says it should.

I returned my first purchase for a replacement because it did not work. The 2nd one doesn't work either. Just wondering if it is user error. I put in batteries, turned it on, pushed the button. I got a beep, but nothing after.

I bought this for my kiddos 6th birthday. She loves it so much as do her little brother and sister. It is pretty small but we can use the baby doll clothes to dress it. The endless giggles make every penny worth it.

Got this as bday present for my friend who's spirit animal is a monkey. When you push the button, it'll record what you say for ~5 seconds and the repeat it back to you in a goofy digitized voice.THE PART YOU MUST KNOW: If (ok it's really WHEN) you laugh at the monkey's voice repeating back to you, IT LAUGHS BACK TO YOU!!! It's head bounces up and down really fast and shakes and literally GIGGLES back at you. I didn't know that when I bought it - and it made it 10x better gift for my friend. She absolutely ADORES this thing. I was howling myself when I found out it did that.

Terrible annoying beeping noise. Did not work at all. Amazon was good to refund. Little monkey came in a bag, not a box. It could have gotten broken during shipping, or maybe it didn't have an original box for another reason. I bought a different monkey on Amazon for my little boy.
