Very sturdy. Kids love them. It is a little hard to fit the lower bed under the hight bed, so we just keep both out unless we really need the floor space. The mattress we are using is quite full, and that is part of the squeeze under issue. They were easy to assemble, and they are Very sturdy and well built.

After extensive research (both online and in stores), we decided on this bed and trundle for our guest bedroom. So glad we did!I was a little afraid of buying a bed over the internet for such a low price, but this bed was a wonderful choice. 100% satisfied. Our guests were tired of sleeping on air mattresses, and waking up on the cold, hard floor when they'd inevitably deflate!I love that it's solid wood, and not flimsy metal or pointy, heavy particle board wood like most of the others in this price range. This bed is as sturdy as can be -- my 8 year old and 5 year old have tested it out very thoroughly! And, best of all, it's comfortable for guests and looks fantastic.Fits perfectly in our playroom, and is the best bed out there (for this price, or even the more expensive ones, too!). So glad I did the research and settled on this great bed!

Easy to put together. It took about an hour (one person) to read directions, assemble day bed and trundle bed. It looks and feels sturdy but we have only slept on it a couple of times. It will be used for guests. The wood is nice, not "fine" furniture....but nice. The trundle rolls well on the carpet, but we will probably put a handle on the front as one other customer suggested. It will be easier to pull out if it has a handle on it. You will have to use a mattress without a pillow top so the trundle will fit. So far, we're happy with this bed.

I had no problem in assembling in under an hour. Bought a 7" memory foam mattress for the bottom and it just barely fit. Glad I didn't get a 7.5" or 8" for the bottom since I'm sure it wouldn't have fit. Very sturdy and no metal squeaks!

If you take the price into account (and who, buying this, doesn't) it's a great buy. The trundle is, as noted elsewhere, a bit tight under the top bed, but if you want something economical and practical, this is it! For what it is, I give it a thumbs up. If you want something else, by all means, PAY FOR IT. This is a great buy! We've had it a couple of months, and we love it.

This bed/frame is solid wood! Very sturdy! I wanted something for my small spare bedroom. Ideally something sturdy enough for adults. This hit the mark perfectly! It has a simple design but is highly functional. Very, very pleased with this purchase. Easy to put together, all the parts were present and accounted for, easy instructions....love it! Thanks!

I have no DIY skills, but this set was easy to be assembled. The assembly instruction was well written. I really like that they are made of real wood, and I am confident that I can use it for a long time. You can also stain or paint if you want to do that.

Bed was delivered on time and in good order. Assembly was not difficult. I would have given it 5 stars but finding a decent 8 inch mattress for the trundle was pretty hard, and even with the 8 inch mattress it is very tight getting it under the main bed. (would be very nice it the main bed was legs had some way to make them higher...but will work with that myself)..
