After 30 days of HEAVY USE (Success story?..)
Review after 30 days of use: It is my belief that no one should shock their dog with any setting stronger than they would shock themselves, and to this end, both my wife and I took turns shocking each other. Sure, you might think that this seems crazy because A) dogs have thicker skin at their neck than we do and B) they have all that fur (I’d argue that I’ve seen many furry necked people), but here’s the thing, per the manual, the electrodes (2 dif lengths supplied) must come in direct contact with their skin and this means separating the fur to ensure proper contact, also the device should always be located directly at the thinnest part of their neck (towards the bottom) and should be monitored and adjusted as necessary for proper alignment. We barely made it 4 out of the possible 16 levels before we were really hurting which directly correlated with response from our one pup. The manual does advise starting at level 1 and work up from there, not jumping levels until you see a response from you dog (rightly so). In training, our 90+ lb. GSD with what I can only describe as intense case ADD, showed response in most scenarios at level 2 and only in one instance required us to use the collar at level 3, which immediately shot him into the air like Yosimite Sam with his britches on fire. Our other GSD only requires the vibrate function for corrections and responds extremely well. Our concern here was that we’d hate to accidently shock him, as this could completely negate the training and possibly cause aggression at this training method. This is easier to mix up than you might think, as both collars are very thin, black and the controller only has a switch with 1 + 2. We placed painters tape on the bottom of both, named them and always did the tone test to verify that each pup had the proper collar. Still I felt there had to be a better system to ensure we didn’t accidentally correct on “1” intending for “2”. I also was afraid of possible allergic reactions to the prongs in one or both of our German Shepherds as this was always a possibility and addressed in length in the owner’s manual.I contacted the company to voice my concerns, to which they offered a remedy, and for the fantastically price of free. The company rep advised that they would send us out, both a conductive electrode cover set and non-conductive electrode cover set, direct from their overseas manufacturing plant. We received them and again began the oh so fun shock test, though this time my wife got a pass and was free to dole out husband corrections (possibly better, or at least funnier than marriage counseling). Both sets worked as advertised and the system has been working well.Final thought: Great product, wish it came in different colors as the black gets lost in both my pups coats and they appear a little naked ;)Hopefully helpful note: Do not expect changes immediately, and definitely start on one target behavior and work that until you no longer need the collar before progressing to the next and always start back at intensity level 1, as you’re furry companion can start to respond to lower levels. The manual says as much but it can get lost in the pages of information, especially if you are new to this kind of training…baby steps

Didn't work for me....
Could never get the shock to work. Wouldn't work on my hand or leg either. Didn't get around to using it till after the cut off for returns. 30$ sitting in the garbage right now. If you're going to buy it anyways, you might as well just throw $30 bucks in your garbage, then go buy a nicer one. Save yourself the time of putting it on your dog and trying to shock the hell out of it while it sits there looking at you. Read the main 5-star review, sounds like the manufacturer wrote it haha.

Great product, but warranty is a complete lie
This collar for 2 dogs is great. We mostly use the tone feature but being able to use one remote for both makes life much easier. We haven't had much issue with it at all and the battery on both the collars and remote lasts a while. The product itself is 5 stars. The reason for giving it 3 stars is that the "lifetime warranty" is a complete sham. The ENTIRE reason we bought this product was because it was a good deal and had a warranty. One of our collars malfunctioned and when I emailed the support email, it came back as not existing and when I called the support number they supply in their materials, the voicemail said "You have reached the Wong residence". The product is great but obviously the warranty is a complete lie. Now our collar doesn't work and I don't know how to contact them. I also don't think they even cover collars sold on Amazon because it's a third-party vendor so this is false advertising as well.

Good system for the price
Pros:This was pretty easy to assemble which is good because I am not mechanically inclined. I like that there were different sized probes depending on the length of your pet's fur. What I really loved was that there was a little plastic tester in there so I could hold it against the prongs to make sure the "static" charge was working and didn't have to try it out on my leg. The price is great. I had purchased a Sporting Dog brand collar about 4 years ago that was over a hundred bucks and is pretty comparable to this.I think the monitor part is a bit flimsier than the Sporting Dog one, but if you treat it well, I believe it would hold up to a lot of training sessions or even multiple pets. The digital display is nice and bright and easy to adjust the level of the static charge. Also easy to switch between vibrate, static, and noise modes.Con: There is only one charging cord so you cannot charge both the receiver and the monitor at the same time. It would be great to have a split cord so you could do both at once. I tried the cord from my other collar, but it was not compatible. The collar you put on the dog could be made of a bit more sturdy plastic or rubber, but then the price also starts to rise considerably.I think for the price, this is a very good system and should work well to train your dog.

Works well
The collars work great. Fora dog with a thick coat (like a German shepherd in the winter time)the prongs are a little short and you have to make the collar quite tight for the vibration and shock settings to have an effect and if two collars are in use you have to switch between the two in order to control them. You can not control both collars simultaneously but it only takes a second to switch so it's not a big deal.

Great Until Batteries Gave Up
Awesome system with easy to use remote and great range - but all batteries stopped holding charge after 16 months. Components stopped holding charge, one after another, within weeks of each other. Opened it up and the batteries are soldered in - not much hope of replacement. Too bad - could be a great product if it wasn't so obviously planned for obsolescence. I loved it when it worked.

FANTASTIC
I have a 100ac farm and my two youngest dogs kept running off when I would go for a walk and they'd be gone for hours. NO MORE!! Once I put the collars on them it only took one attempt and they learned quickly NOT to run off. Now I just have to give them a beep and they come running unless they're chasing a deer or coyote, then it takes a little more "persuasion".

Well made
I've been using this on my dobermans for a few months. So far so good. They like to bark at squirrels, cats, etc. One beep and they stop. Haven't had to use the other features up to this point
