75 Years of Little Golden Books: 1942-2017: A Commemorative Set of 12 Best-Loved Books

A very nice collection of children's stories. I would recommend this book for anyone who either has children or works with children.

Perennial favorites. Little Golden Book collection for young children are very welcome. The stories, the illustrations, are all well loved. Very nice anniversary collection. A Christmas gift to our grandchildren.

We bought this for our friends who are having their second baby . All these golden books bring back good memories. I remember reading Poky the Little Puppy a ton when I was young. I hope the family gets as much joy out of here as I did.

I grew up on Golden Books, so did my children, grandchildren and now I buy them for my great-grandchildren. Books have a lifetime of value and knowledge.

From classics like "The Poky Little Puppy" to newer favorites like "The Monster at the End of This Book," this set truly captures the magic and charm of the Little Golden Books brand.One thing I absolutely love about this set is the attention to detail. It's like taking a step back in time and reliving the joy I felt as a child when I first discovered these timeless tales. The sturdy construction of the books ensures that they will withstand the test of time, making this set a cherished heirloom to pass down to future generations.While I have nothing but praise for this commemorative set, there is one minor drawback that I should mention. The size of the books in the set is slightly smaller than the standard Little Golden Books. While this doesn't detract from the overall enjoyment of the stories.

These were not all my favorite Little Golden Books but they might be your favorites. The collection looks great, and I plan to use it as a gift for a great-granddaughter. I may buy another set for the youngest, even though they are much too young at present. But this is a 75th Anniversary Issue, and I've read Little Golden Books all my life.

These books were bad as a Christmas present for my 2-year-old granddaughter. We read them to her at night before bed to help her wind down and also to develop a love of reading. If you want your child to enjoy reading as they grow up I suggest the set.
