Excellent Beginner Airplane
After having experimented with a lot of entry level RC airplane products, I finally found exactly what I was looking for in a beginner airplane. Here is what I liked most:- It came ready to fly, straight out of the box. All it needed was for the transmitter (aka remote control) to have 4 double A batteries loaded, and for one of the batteries to be charged to 100%. There are optional landing gear that take about one minute to install or uninstall.- Binding the remote to the airplane was very easy.- Flying in beginner mode was a breeze. You do need to understand the basics of how an RC airplane is controlled, so watch a video on youtube before flying if its your first time.- The airplane is very light and the propeller pops off cleanly when it crashes. The foam used for the airplane's body feels sturdy and flexible.- It's surprising fast and maneuverable, even with beginner mode turned on.This would be a great toy for kids 8 and up, but I would definitely make sure to learn alongside and supervise kids up to 11 or 12 years old before you let them fly it without active supervision.

Great plane for beginners!
This is a great way to learn how to fly an RC plane. I wish this type of technology was around 20 yrs ago when I was crashing planes in order to learn. I bought this product because a colleague and I were talking about getting active in the hobby again and I wanted to try to get my skills back before flying my expensive airplanes. I’ve been out with it 3 times already and I will be turning off the gyro assist modes on my next flight. I highly recommend this or a similar plane for beginners. There’s nothing more heartbreaking than pouring several hundreds of dollars and hours of your time into a beautiful plane that you bring home in pieces after the maiden flight. Hone your skills first!

Fun little plane!
It is pretty much what I expected! A lot of fun to fly in small places! I ditched the transmitter that came with the plane and bound it to my FrSky transmitter which gives smoother control, but the transmitter that comes with the plane works well..

Best fun my son had for Christmas
Out of all the presents this was the hit. My 12 year old flew this in 20 mph winds!!! Yes it was hard but he did it. In calmer winds this thing performs, the easy mode is great for beginners, and the mid difficulty is great for stunts......the expert mode is a little harder to master though but good to keep him interested in the future. The 2 Batteries last long enough for more than enough play time...30 mins or more

Fantastic little warbird
The media could not be loaded. this plane flies great. in the beginner mode you still have decent control but not enough to crash easily. the medium mode is the best in my opinion because you almost get full flight controls but it auto stabilizes which is handy on such a small plane. the expert mode is pretty difficult to handle due to its small size. overall. great plane for beginners or someone who just wants a small little spitfire to add to their collection

Good for maybe 2 flights
The plane is good, but it basically fried itself for flying, my 3rd bad experience with a cilantro rc plane, will no longer be purchasing it after breaking 5 gearboxes and frying two flight controllers by normal operation

Easy as heck to fly.
Great little plane, lots of fun. Having a bit of trouble getting it trimmed up on expert mode, but I'm happy flying it on intermediate.. can be a little tough to see at times . As soon as I fly the swallows come out to dog fight. Good times.

Prop does not start on.
Honestly not happy with this plane. Quality of certain parts are not good at all. The prop mount is cheap and does not hold the prop on well and will usually throw the prop before it even reaches full speed.
