I have intermittent drain flies, and this is the only thing that kills them off. Of course, it takes about a week and if not vigilant in repeat applications, the flies do return. Sorry to read that Invade has ceased production of the strongly orange version in favor of the more clear, lemony solution. Have not had as good results with the lemon version.

We have used the original Bio Drain Orange Gel to combat drain flies periodically through wetter seasons and keep our drains clean for years. I specifically looked for the Orange gel (original) and this seller depicted the same. however, we received a yellow THIN watery solution that made absolutely NO impact on our drains at all. Complete waste of Money.

Make sure you use a scrub brush on the inside of the drain nightly then use this. I have sticky paper to count the ones caught the night before, volume went down nightly and when I started scrubbing prior to pouring this down the drain. they went to zero glad I found this. I paid 145$ to a exterminator and had to do this myself. I did use a squeeze bottle to apply to sides of drain pipe
