My hamster loves this coconut substrate, the quality is very good and really absorbs the pee smell (not like the sand that makes it worse). The only thing is the quantity for the price, I wish it has more product in the bag. Other than that I would recommend it.

I keep trying to keep the hams entertained in new ways, and thought cocao and moss would be something new and unique for them. One ham loved it and made his bed with it, one ham didn't pay it any attention. Easy to clean and dispose of.

Not stinky like some other brands, not SHARP like some other brands, and the smallest size provides a fair amount. Easy to clean up and take out, minimal dust. Made for a happy hammy!!

The media could not be loaded.  i bought this as another substrate for my hamster to play in and she loves digging in it!! I didn’t have a container for it but i cut up a cardboard box and it works perfectly fine! It’s really nice to look at. the bag is a good size and it doesn’t smell like anything. 👍👍

My dwarf hamster loves this stuff! Good quality and fairly cheap. A little hard to clean bedding out of it. But overall I definitely recommend!

Price per bag is pretty expensive but my hamsters are spoiled so I don't mind :). Its softer, low to no dust and mixed coconut fiber so its so soft! If you want to save a few buck, you can buy eco-earth but compared to the two, I would still buy the niteangel one. The bag from niteangel is already ready to use so no disinfecting or drying time compared to eco earth and softer, less dust than eco earth. If you have the budget, I recommend this enrichment for your hamsters. Also niteangel is awesome and one of the best small animal stores on amazon! Never disappoints!

I wanted to give my hamster multiple different bedding types to allow him to explore, dig and do natural things that hamsters do. I love the feel of this substrate and it allows my little guy to dig around while also keeping the area around the hamster wheel free of thicker beddings. He also seems to use this bedding the most for doing his business in compared to other bedding types. Will be getting more!

I bought a bunch of hamster cage accessories from a video where a YouTuber assembled an incredibly enriching enclosure with them. My hamster is quite happy, he is a Beverly Hills hamster. My little hammy loves this substrate, but it doesn’t even cover a quarter of his cage so I’ve had to get a bit creative. The substrate itself is high quality and I’m glad that I’ve purchased it for my hamster, I just don’t rate the price for the little amount that you get.
