Love it for my kid, but it's difficult to pick up anything with the bucket other than very small pebbles or sand. Otherwise, great toy

This was a gift for my nephew for his birthday and the first time he played with it the arm and bucket fell off and was not satisfied with the size

My 5 year old was beside himself with joy when he got this excavator. We charged it, added batteries to the controller and it was good to go. It worked as indicated. The sound got a little bit annoying after a while, but my son was in heaven. I was slightly relieved when the battery died, after about an 30 minutes but by that time, he was ready to move on to something else. Seems very durable, and rugged enough to survive for a good while.
