Good Device, Be Aware of Solar ReCharge Time ..
Good Device ( CPP 100 SP), However, Although not clear from the description listed, According to the instructions that come with this item, a full Re-charge up time of this charger, if you run it all the way down, is: From bright solar/Light source will take 26-28 continuous hrs in bright light. From 500Ma USB port - 15 hrs From a 1000mA USB - 8 hrs From a 2.1A USB - Unknown/not listed Since it can charge most phones fully 1 to 3 times before needing a recharge, this is not an issue for me, as I have usb capability in the home, Car, ect to get a recharge in the device, & the solar charge is a nice "plus", but for me, would only be used in a power outage, or when the device can sit unneeded for a longer period of time ...

Most convenient solar charged usb backup battery currently
Compared to other solar chargers that I tried I liked the form factor of this device the most. It is only slightly wider than my HTC one phone, so it doesn't seem that bulky. If you wear baggy shorts you can fit it in the same pocket as your phone while it is charging. The solar panels are good, but it does require fairly direct sunlight to charge. It only gets 4 stars because the capacity of the battery is pretty small. It's enough to recharge my phone once but that's probably about it. Still, it's exciting to see this kind of device become more prevalant- using solar power to charge consumer electronics is a great convenience during long outdoor trips, and it doubles as an emergency preparedness device for power blackouts.

Dependable for basic, camping, emergency & fishing needs!!
I thought it was time for the review, and here's why. I recently on 2 occasions by accident, it so hot and nice I put it out to charge; and went to play pool. It rained that night, and poured down. Next day I saw it and thought its over, nope...let screen dry/evaporate and pushed the button; full charge. I did the same thing again this past weekend, I got a call; family matters. So I left town, and forgot I left it out in sun. Well got back today 5 days an 3 storms later, it's still working an it just charged back up phone.Pros: Convenient, Multi input & outputs, Light, Fits a Purse, Pocket or any door of any car(I know I have a small for myself), Waterproof (Sink,Toilet, Tub, Storms).Cons: I was told by my niece and friend it doesn't charge fast enough for them...but for me 45-55minutes is fine with me for full charge on solar power.

Pros: * Charges quicklyCons: * Charging port would have been preferable to charging cable makes for awkward charging* Should be clearer that about warranty not being valid outside of the US, or Amazon should not send this device overseas

Works great. Do not use often but when I needed it, it worked great. I charged it on Christmas day, didn't charge it again and was able to charge 3 phones from a dead battery to a fully charged battery a month later.

Great gadget
Great gadget. It is quite slow on charging from sunlight, though. It would be good to see the level of charghing at each time. Then it would be easier to adjust everything to perfection, if sitting still for a longer time.

Looks very good and qualitative- charged to 3/4 during 2 days lying on the windowsill, during cloudy weather, in north of Russia (Saint-Petersburg, February)met some minuses (but still like it)- did not charge last 1/4 of its capacity at all (lies on the windowsill for about 10 days, still 3/4 charged) - maybe this is a limitation of solar panels - can not charge fully when there is not enough sunlight (winter in the north of Russia :-) )- stops charging my android phone at about 80% phone battery (while cobra has juice). Maybe this is phone's bad, but still frustrating. Will test it in summer more.

Not bad as a charger (can charge my cell phone in 2 hours to 95%). I have yet to test its ability to recharge solely by sunlight.

Good reliable portable power
This portable power pack is well worth the price. It stores 6amps of power which allows my family to charge the iPods several times before the power pack needs to be recharged. The solar panels take a long time to recharge the internal battery (couple of days). This seems to be the case with all solar powered portable power solutions of all sizes (big and small).

Three Stars
Replace USB with lightning out that way this can charge both for iphone and android. Use separate charging cord and inlet. The usb charging cord is too short i have to find something to place this unit level with the outlet where i plug my traveler's adaptor. I used this in my last vacation and charges my iPhone 7plus 3x.
