Love Her Wild: Poems Paperback – July 11, 2017

It’s so beautiful. Tons of different poems with different meanings. I love to just sit down and enjoy a few with a cup of tea. Honestly recommend this lovely book!

pooled ink Reviews:Atticus has earned a place on my shelf as a poet able to craft words in such a way that I feel understood. Some make me smile, some make me sad, and many feel precisely like what lies hidden inside but am too hesitant to voice. They make me feel and they make me think. Much of his work comprises of very short and simple love poems, but whether he fills an entire page or chooses only a pinch of words, there is a depth behind each thought. It’s difficult to review poetry since it is a poet’s truth and a particularly subjective medium, so all I can say is that I adore this collection and hope you might too.

“Love Her Wild” the best thing I’ve read in a while. There are some negative comments on here that mention how short the poems are and how much of a breeze it was to go through the book in a short amount of time. But honestly, those are reasons why I love it so much. It’s perfect for those of us who have shorter attention spans but love reading. The poems are so relatable - it gives you a sense of hope and a feeling of being seen. I will definitely be rereading it a lot in the future and truly recommend!

Liked this book. It was very eccentric. Would share it with someone newly dating again. Brings happy feelings and is spine-tingling and thought-provoking.

I heard about Atticus from my fellow Instagram poets. Atticus is a true genius and like all genius he has set a new height for what poetry is today and novel changes to the set standards of poetry books. Art encompasses many genres. Photography, fonts and formatting design are all art. They lend themselves to creating a new depth to the poetic words. Today's world is craving micro-poems. Ones that can be read in a glance. Atticus is the voice of this young new audience. He is creating a sense of self that has been lost in the concrete jungles we now live in. There is much to watch for in this young man he is just beginning and he is a WOW in my opinion.

A lot of these I've encountered online previously, but all together they have a different feel than just snippets here and there.There isn't anything overly profound here, but Atticus admits himself to take writing from authors before him to inspire his own work (as we all do). This instead makes his words feel familiar and comforting, which is often the most valuable thing poetry can offer.

Yup, yet again, I've found something to obsess and fixate on.How I am just finding his work is still beyond me. The number of peeps that have told me "oh I've been reading his work for years," is wild to me. Like howwwww have I not seen it talked about then, yanno. Just goes to show there's SO MANY books out in this big world of ours. Gotta dig for the best ones, find the peeps that read similar to ya, or hope ya stumble upon their work like I happened to with Atticus' words.All that said, take this as your sign to check out his work stat! 😉You're welcome.

I have followed this poet on IG for a while now and know his work pretty well. I was not remotely surprised that I loved this book! The photos inside are a stunning addition to his beautiful words.Atticus paints you a picture of young passion and wisdom in the midst of it. He gives you a rare insight into the mind of the young and expresses the driving need to be wild. His short and stirring words are a commentary on those seeking to run so they can be found. It is often said that poetry means something different to everyone, I tend to believe that is true. However if you open this book up you might get to know yourself, or see someone else in it.
