AF Archery Tatar Bow Recurve Bow Horsebow 53" Archery

Oh what can I say about this fantastic bow. At the time of this writing there are two asiatic style bows that I really I like that are being offered on amazon, and this is one of the two both being offered by AF Archery. It is a superb bow, and I would class it as being worth double the price. First off, it is incredibly light. It's like 4/5ths of a pound. It is very fast and snappy. It is comfortable to hold in the hand, and it draws smoothly through the entire draw range, really only beginning to show resistance as you approach draw length. Be careful, it draws so easily that it is easy to over-draw the bow if you are able.The other bow I like is also offered by AF Archery is the 48" Turkish bow. You can see my review over on that bow as well. I love both of these bows, and I am getting ready to by both again at higher draw weights more appropriate for hunting.

First time buying a traditional bow and it’s pretty amazing, very lightweight and dependable.

My five stars might be a bit premature but this bow met all my expectation right out of the box. I have four Asian bows, now, and this one is nearly perfect, and I say "nearly" only because I've only had it a day but still put sixty-five arrows in the target off it. At forty pounds it draws smoothly and shoots a fast arrow. I look forward to getting to know this bow better but for now I couldn't be more pleased.

Very attractive bow. The workmanship is quite nice. This bow is exceptionally light and shoots smooth. I wish I'd gotten a heaver weight on this bow, but it's great for target practice. I just don't think anyone could be disappointed with this bow. It's my favorite target bow.

Bow is super smooth and shoots with bows twice the price. The finish is beautiful and well made. This bow looks so much nicer in person. For the price this bow is a great deal, does not feel cheap. It is easy to control and feels good with my large hands and draw length. I would say you feel it a little more past 29" but still comfortable to 31". Very solid vibration control with the bamboo being smooth and overall the bow is very forgiving.

This bow is labeled as 35# but it's a couple of pounds light just like my AF Turkish bow labeled 30#. The finish is beautiful and it shoots great. It is light as a feather and not tiring to shoot for long periods of time.At $160 bucks you're hard pressed to find anything better.

It's everything that all the great reviews here have listed. Hands down the best bow I've ever shot at this price point! Amazing!!!

This bow exceeded our expectations. Excellent craftsmanship. Very smooth and solid, with significant power. Want to get a second one!
