Smooth, you don't need hand chalk... I had to back off and play less aggressive, I had balls leaving the table. I didn't realize there was that big of a difference in sticks. I've been using bar sticks for a long time. I got this to play at the Legion with fellow vets. Had ball end up behind the bar. So, keep that in mind when you use this stick. Less is best.

Received the stick very quick. Packing was great making sure that there was no damage. This is a beautiful looking cue and shoots very well. I ordered the 19.5oz and the weight is perfect for me. I have a Viking custom, Mucci, Players, Griffin as well as some other nice cues. This one shoots just as good and costs much less. I am impressed overall with it.

Brand new stick I received was already warped. Such a shame that companies today can’t make a quality product. When I was a kid Viking made great cues. I doubt their is any quality control anymore. Don’t buy viking.

This stick feels alive with energy. Excellent quality no question.

not a viking. but not a bad cue. i played with it a few months. really acurate in a 13mm tip. it broke in well
