I had been looking for real beeswax, not paraffin wax and couldn't find any on Amazon that didn't have recent negative reviews concerning the smell or texture of the product. The last batch I had bought apparently was a mix of paraffin because it stuck so badly to the knife I used, and to the glass/metal containers I used. This product from Natural Apiary is not at all like that! It cuts smoothly, doesn't leave flakes or residue on the knife...it is the REAL DEAL and you can buy with assurance from this respectable company.

I didn't receive this product for free or at a discounted price. I chose to purchase it after comparing and agonizing over beeswax bars versus pellets and because these were advertised as being organic. These were purchased to make beard balm for my husband and while I don't typically work with beeswax (this was my first experience with it), I really loved this stuff. I mixed with Shea butter and other oils and found the finished product to be smooth and the consistency of the balm was really nice and not "waxy" feeling. I also liked that they came in 1oz bars which made it a lot easier to measure. They are slightly pricier than comparable beeswax bars on Amazon but for me it's worth it for the quality that you get. They have a slight scent when they're melted down but I mixed them with essential oils so that all but dissipated. I'll definitely be purchasing more soon.

A very good product. I have found it to be a higher quality then what is in the craft stores, soft and not dry. It also works very well on zippers and other items needing lubrication without the oil residue. I am very pleased with this and would recommend to all crafters who use bees wax on their threads.

If you've been frustrated trying to find a good natural high quality Beeswax look no further.This is excellent beeswax, nice purity, very clean,no bad smells. Easy to use bars.You can see the quality in the product and packaging. It's also good to know it is a US based product. I don't have to worry about fake beeswax with additives or contaminants as has been reported with the other brands.Natural Apiary followed up on my purchase via email to make sure it met my expectations, they also provided a nice overview on different ways beeswax can be used. From what I've seen, this is the best beeswax available. I highly recommend them, I'll use them again.

Excellent. I used this wax to make the stuff for my homemade Deodarant. The wax was easy to you and melt. I did have to grate it with my own shaver to make it melt sooner, but you can get wax pellets if you prefer. Overall, the Deodarants I made Look great. The Deodarant containers are also from Amazon. I made my own deodarant because I did not want all the chemicals that come in commercial Deodarants or the aluminum. I can't help but to think this would also be cool for one of his school projects or for show and tell. You could also make cute labels too. I bought everything that I needed on Amazon. I put them in the fridge for a little time so they would solidify faster, but this is optional. Overall I was very pleased with the quality of these wax bars. This is real beeswax, but has a strong plastic odor due to the packaging. Mine arrived with visible dirt and impurities on the top of a few bars. Upon melting, there is what appears to be dirt was well as little chunks of some material, possibly plastic that does not melt. I contacted the seller, and they stated that the "general use" beeswax is not to be used for things like cosmetics, and I could return it if I wanted, but basically seemed unconcerned about the dirt and impurities. I am not going to bother returning this, but would not buy it again.

So I am a silversmith and I purchased this bees wax to lubricate my saw blades. The blades used on a jewelers saw are very thin and flexible and can break easily. Lubricating them with wax or oil is recommended to allow the blade to move more smoothly with each stroke and also to prevent breakage. Oil is messy so I went with bees wax. Also, I love bees in general, so this makes me happy. It is a real bummer when your blade breaks in the middle of sawing something out. You have to stop everything and replace the blade, which depending on the saw you use, can be either a HUGE pain in the ass, or relatively easy. I bought this pack about 6 months ago and I haven't even made a dent in one bar yet. This pack will last me the rest of my life! So value? YES, in my situation specifically, I will never need to buy more! Unless I decide to make candles... ha

I used this for a paw balm. It took a little time to melt into the other ingredients ( coconut and Vitamin E oil) but works well. There’s a big, lasting difference in my dogs pads. I even use it for my elbows. It’s safe and cheaper in the long run with multiple uses.

Wasn’t sure about purchasing this and I trusted the reviews. But returning! It smells so toxic, like harsh chemicals or really burnt plastic. I am not that sensitive to smells but the smell upset my stomach and now I have a headache and want to throw up. I was going to use this to make beeswax candles. I usually use white but wanted yellow to keep the natural aroma that yellow ones usually retain. Going to look for something else once I stop feeling nauseous. (Not exaggerating. It’s terrible. Never smelt any beeswax like this)

good quality beeswax with nice packaging. worked out great for wood finishing. just don't expect miracles as this is just beeswax nothing more...

I bought this wax for making pysanka; the product is great - pure and easy with which to work. The weight was as advertised and the delivery was fast. Definitely would purchase from this vendor, again.

I got it to use on zippers, since it’s wax.But it didn’t work that well because the wax was way too think, unfortunately had to return and get an actual zipper Lubricant.
