I wish I could give these 10 stars!
I just completed my first shave with these blades and it was the most comfortable and the closest shave I have ever had! That includes straight razors. My face, chin, neck has not been this smooth since...well, since I was born I imagine. Let me say right now that I think I am the exception to the rule as I do not have sensitive skin and I do have a medium tough beard. I suppose if I had to, I could shave with a chain saw 😉. I've used many different blades and just about all of them are decent with maybe one that would butcher a blade of grass. Certainly even the only ok blades are much better than the multi bladed wonders they put out today, in plain language, they suck! And their cost is almost equal to the national debt, it's ridiculous. As long as you have the right razor body to put these blades in, you can't go wrong with a DE blade, I use a Edwin Jagger which I absolutely love. I had kind of settled in with the Astra SP which I had found to be a good general purpose blade at a very good price (around $10 per 100 as of this writing) but I got to tell ya, I am now a Feather man. I can't say for sure because my skin has always been pretty sturdy but from reading the other reviews you may want to take caution with these if you have very sensitive skin, I don't know but I would certainly recommend you at least give these a try, it would be a shame if you passed these by because you were a little nervous using it, after all, double edge "safety" razors are all pretty sharp. I think if you very careful, as you would be with anything new to you, you just may be happily surprised as I am. I am so very glad I gave these a try. I'll keep the Astras I have left and maybe use them every once in a while, but I am going to stock up on these and use them from now on. Do yourself a favor and try as many as you can, you'll soon find your go to blade as I just have.***quick update***I just shaved off a five day beard growth with the same Feather I have been using, it was every bit as sharp, smooth shaving and comfortable as the day I unwrapped it. Had I done this with a cartridge type razor, it would have literally yanked every hair straight out of my face, it would have been painful at best. The only thing you have to do is make sure to clean the blade and dry it very well. Any blade left wet will degrade much quicker, become dull and maybe form some rust depending on the metal.I love these blades!

Excellent Razor Blades
These blades may not be the cheapest, but they are certainly the best I've used so far. My facial hair is a bit coarse, and being busy, it can get a little long at times. This blade cuts through it with no issues: no pulls, no snags, no razor burn.I've used multiple brands over the years, and none of them have stood up to the cutting power of these Feather blades. While others have given me a smooth shave, it's only when my facial hair is really short. Doesn't matter with these Feather blades, long or short, they will leave your face smooth with little to no irritation.

Too sharp!
I'm new to wet/DE shaving. These were my FIRST blades! BAD IDEA. Let me warn you against making my mistake. These blades are unforgiving. You myst first learn proper technique. I'm around 2 dozen shaves in now with double edge wet shaving.. and I'm still working on it. I've found if I want a close shave, while still being forgiving enough with my inexperienced hands, to use Astra blades. The [green] to be exact. Very affordable. Next, if I want a very very comfortable and forgiving shave.. I use Derby blades. When my skin is sensitivie from a close shave with my poor technique from the previous day(s), that's when I'll use a Derby. But on healthy, strong skin with decent stubble, I prefer Astra. I won't down-vote the Feathers for being too sharp of a razor blade. That's my fault. I'm like a rooky trying to make a fine instrument sound good.. it's not the instruments fault, it's my poor skill. If you're versed and practiced in DE wet shaving, then chances are you've already used these and don't need the reviews. If you're new to this game- don't start here. This isn't one of those "buy the best up front!" Sort of things. I too live by that philosophy. But it doesn't apply here. After I go through the 130+ Astra and Derby blades I have left, then I will try my hand with the Feathers I have left.I almost discouraged myself from DE shaving by using the Feathers first! Having your neck and face bleeding all over and feeling like it's covered in fire ants for the night ISN'T fun or encouraging to a new activity. I even first watched many youtube videos of shaving hobbyists who know their stuff.. they all advised against Feathers for newbies. Being hard-headed and unrealistic about my shaving abilities, I ignored them. Go ahead and ignore me.. you might be right!...or not.
