Great Brand, Great Backpack
I got my first Dakine backpack in high school, and it was my favorite bag from the moment I laid hands on it. After 8 years of very heavy use, it finally started to break down, and I began my search for a new backpack. Naturally, I was biased toward Dakine, and I was looking for a backpack with lots of space, and a good compartment for my laptop.The numerous compartments in this bag have given me the space and organization I need for all of my things. The laptop compartment is also big enough for my laptop (a little over 15in), and I also appreciate the fact that the laptop sleeve is elevated from the bottom of the bag (no need to worry about damaging your laptop by setting your bag on the ground too hard). From what I can tell so far, this bag is just as sturdy as my last one, and should last me for years to come.If I had one complaint, it would be the spacing between the shoulder straps. I have always thought I had fairly broad shoulders for a woman, but these straps are just a little too wide for my shoulders. It hasn't been much of a problem for me, but I might not recommend this bag to women, or anyone with narrow shoulders.

My new laptop bag
I travel a lot for work and this replaced my previous underarmour backpack for carrying laptop, tablet and all the other crap I travel with. It has a whole bunch of little pockets allowing me to organise and separate stuff seems sturdy and it looks good.

Absolutely love this backpack!
Absolutely love this backpack! Use it every single day for our family of five. Whether it’s going to the beach or a family outing. It has so many pockets for diapers, towels, water bottles, etc.

Great bag, misleading listing
Would have given 5 stars but the picture given is *not* the bag you get. The dark grey carbon with the vertical writing is an older model that Dakine no longer sells. The "newer" carbon - this one that amazon sells - is lighter grey and has the traditional logo.Misleading advertisement aside, the backpack is great and IMO looks better than the one picturedBag is 10/10, but the advertisement is 0/10
