MAS Resin and Hardener Pump Set

I have a 1-1 epoxy and this was the only pumps I could find on Amazon, long story short bought a second set and just use the blue pumps for both the bottles of the 1-1. Works pretty good. No more measuring :)

First of all, these are for MAS epoxy. While you may have luck using them with others, I’d suggest not risking it if you’re not using the brand these are specified for. Also, the “A” side of epoxy is very, very thick and will struggle to get through ANY pump. Have patience, and it will get there! These work great with MAS epoxy. It does take a bit of time and effort to get the pump going with the super thick “A” side, but that’s to be expected.

So far they are working great. The hardener pump will pump out 7.5 cc per pump and the resin is just a bit less. I was hoping they would be equal amounts so I could stop using measuring cups. I still have to watch carefully in order to mix a 1:1 ratio. But at least I know longer have to attempt this with pouring.

They're fine for pumpers but it appears the only thing special about them is the red/blue stickers on the top? And maybe the measurement amount. If you're looking for pumps that pump thick liquids these aren't necessary. You can look elsewhere here on amazon, especially for the price. They jam up and don't handle thick liquids.(Disclaimer: I didn't use them for epoxy. I used them for acrylic resin which is more thin. They didn't handle it well at all)

I went through a half a gallon of resin & hardener trying to get a consistent measure. No good. Lucky I only ruined one batch, due to my suspicions about the quantities. The resin pump worked well every time. The hardener pump never worked. (Maybe it worked 10-15% of the time.) Air bubbles time & again. I was using new epoxy, full containers. Very frustrating. The website photo shows two white pumps— one with blue (resin) & one with red (hardener). I received one white with blue (resin) & one gold with red (hardener). The gold pump was the problem. Finally I tossed them out & started weighing, using an electronic kitchen scale.

These MAS pumps worked and dispensed well. However, after each pump they drip leaving a mess and wasting resin and hardener. However, if you use MAS you are stuck using them. Using West System on their products, I never had this problem.

This is oure garbage. They dont pump.out the same ammount therefore defeats the purpose of having pumos for ur resin. Ridiculous.

I bought it for resin. It worked for a while but then stopped. They are good I just think I got them for something they were not ment for.
