Cute but would have preferred umbrella was plain rather than having a face and ears. Made it seem like a set for quite small girls. Older children collect 18" dolls, too.

This fits Journey Girls. I'm new to the world of dolls because my daughter is only just now old enough, and I have to say I was a little overwhelmed trying to figure out what will fit which dolls, and I've had to return several items that weren't as described. So this review and picture are for the other parents out there who are trying to figure this out and want a little photographic evidence of fit for a Journey Girl doll before they buy.

Cute gift for my 6 year old niece. She just got an American Girl doll last year and is still building her accessory collection. This outfit is super cute and fits perfect! The umbrella is adorable and her birthday is in the spring so it was great timing to get this for her. I purchased this for a program I will be working in. I got this to teach the kids all about rain gear and proper dress code. This set is just great.I love how this set comes with so many pieces. In addition to an outfit, it has everything the kids need for the rain. The rain coat is nice and comes with a great matching outfit. I love the umbrella. It is so realistic. The kids love opening and closing it. I will point out for really young children, the umbrella might be difficult, but you will just need to teach them how to use it.The rain boots are adorable. They have such nice details on them and slip on and off the foot so nicely, it is great.Overall, one of the best sets I have seen. Very realistic and easy to take on and off the doll. Great for fun and education combined.

I got this outfit for an 8 year old girl for her American Girl doll. The outfit was beautifully made and I found no problem with the stitching. She had no problem putting the clothes on the doll by herself and once on the fit was perfect. For the price, I was worried the umbrella might break easily or the shoes wouldn't fit right. I worried needlessly. The shoes fit perfectly and the umbrella is very sturdy and functions beautifully. A strap on the umbrella would have been nice so the doll could hold it but for the price of the outfit seems silly to even mention.I wonder if some comments of girls not being able to get the outfit on the doll were maybe girls younger than 8 years old. American Girl dolls are for girls 8 and up so given the age suggestion an 8 year old should have no problems with this outfit.

This was a big hit when I gave it to my granddaughter! It is so cute and the umbrella is adorable!!!The umbrella needs to be kept from younger siblings as children love to put it up and down repeatedly!The outfit has 6 pieces and children can put on all or just some of the pieces!!!It is well made and i thought it was worth the price!!!

the umbrella is adorable - BUT be sure to wash & rinse the clothing - particularly the jeans - the color bleeds alot !and handling clothing with dye like that is not healthy for kids (for anyone)
