This pencil is creamy, easy to apply. It does not cake or leave the lips feeling dry. This is my first experience with this product. Color is good for a person with light olive skin tone

I changed my review...It's a great lip crayon. But, I wish it had a swivel stick instead of having to sharpen it which destroys some of the product, or it breaks off.

This is a new to me brand but I'm hooked. This lip crayon glides over my lips with ease. I was able to outline them and fill in with this product. Its a matte finish but I never felt that my lips were overly dry. It comes in several different colors so I'm sure you'll find one that suits you.

I was amazed at how moisturized my lips felt in spite of the matte-looking finish. I apply a light coat, and it goes on smoothly. Less is more with this one as any issues I've had with smudges and smears were after applying a thicker coat. The pencil shape gives me utter control over how I apply it, which I like, but could be a problem for someone with unsteady hands. When first applied, it still has enough flexibility to transfer from one area to another, so if I had trouble with controlling my hands enough to make the upper lip even, I could simply put a thicker coat on my lower lip, press my lips to transfer some of the lipstick, and then fill in little areas if needed or rub my lips together a bit more, depending on my abilities. It does not have a strong scent or flavor, which combined with the smudge resistance and longevity makes it ideal for date night. A friend tried some on, didn't care for the matte surface, rubbed it off as best as she could, and then wore some chapstick, and the product was still there but looked like a more traditional lipstick. So if you find the matte texture not to your liking, try putting a coating of chapstick or gloss over it. They seem to play well together. I picked a color close to my natural lip color, and it enhances what I already have while protecting me from getting chapped lips. My only issue with this product is that needing a sharpener of my own will eventually be a hassle once it wears down that far. I'm hoping they will release a version with a self-sharpener because that is the only thing standing in the way of this being one of the best lipsticks I've had in a very long time. It is a good product that I'd buy again.

I had mixed emotions when I tried this matte lip crayon for the first time. Color was basically the same as my natural lip color. However, when I saw myself in a picture or while on video conference calls, the color looks a bit darker which I like.It performs good throughout a few hours, somehow smudge-proof.
