Let’s first start off with the great quality of this. You get a metal spine which helps with support and you get premium plastic in the inside for you note covers. The design is also really great as you can write on the paper without taking the notes out. The thing doesn’t weight heavy at all as you might think because there are 40 sheets. The functionality is also great you can use it for any notes and is super easy to add in the papers.

I've tired several methods to organize and use sheet music for practice and playing. Often I want to make marks on the sheet music for fingering, adding or striking out notes, etc. as well as metronome beat and instruments/settings. Some folders I have used in the past were solid plastic pages with an opening at the top to insert sheet music. However, the Meccaline folder allows you to position sheet music that is held by plastic bands at the top and bottom of the page, leaving most of the sheet music page open for markings and annotations. I often do these in different colors, depending on what I want to emphasize. So now, while learning a song, I can have it in a folder with a spiral binding that organized and is easy to use plus I'm able to add markings as I learn the song. Mu wife appreciated that I can avoid having extraneous sheet music laying around my digital piano. For future music folder, I would like to see thicker, more sturdy plastic bands at top/bottom to hold the sheet music, however, I can report that I have not had any issues with workmanship (e.g., no tearing or falling apart).
