Hamilton Beach 3 Cup Electric Vegetable Chopper & Mini Food Processor

I love, love, love this vegetable chopper! I had a very old 2-cup model (different brand) that finally needed to be replaced. I wanted something that would be easy to use, clean and store and the Hamilton Beach 3-cup fits the bill. Works well on foods from cooked chicken to celery. After reading other reviews, I decided to wash it by hand so there would be no chance of the plastic melting in the dishwasher, even though it looks quite durable. I am totally delighted with this purchase!

This replaced my 40 year old Black and Decker mini chopper that finally had a little plastic tab break off (otherwise it still works!) I use it mostly for chopping pickles for egg salad and chicken salad, etc, but it would work great for making salsa and so many other things. This one is almost too simple to use! Nothing complicated about it AT ALL. First time I used it I knew it was a good choice! Would purchase again.

This is a little gem. In the past few days, I've used it to make breadcrumbs, puree fruit and grind hard parmesan. It is simple to use (just press the lid), powerful and so easy to clean. Perfect size for singles, couples or small families. My wife asked me how we got along without it!

I was affected by bursitis and tendonitis from chopping food. I tried a manual chopper with lots of options on it, but still hurts....This processor is by far the best money I've ever spent on a kitchen tool. It's portable, easy to store, and safe to use. I feel like ordering another in case something happens to this one or even more for family Christmas gifts. One press is a good chop, two and three and you're done to your liking. Great for all kinds of items you need to chop, and I'm using it sometimes multiple times a day. Longevity- we will tell over time. Super simple to clean and store....love, love, love it!

Always a good product and company. Ordered a new three cup processor due to a missing lid. Received the new processor and it worked fine and it also worked with my seven year processor that had the missing lid. That is for a week. Put it to use after a week and both canisters would not fit with the new lid. Pretty well sure this was a employee of the assisted living problem. If possible during manufacturing if there is a way to help alleviate this kind of problem it would be well appreciated from a customer who has used Hamilton beach equipment for over fifty years

This processor works incredibly well, what a deal. Lots of power for the money. Blends salsas to perfection, chops carrots like nothing, nuts for baking. Chops quickly and efficiently. Fits nicely on the counter. It's easy to clean, you can also put it on the top rack of dishwasher. You may see a stubborn orange shadow when you chop carrots, it's the oils. Just grab a damp paper towel and wipe it firmly over the bowl and lid and blade post, it comes right off, then wash as usual.

The best small size chopper for the price. Easy to use, lightweight and easy to clean. You can use a 15 oz can of beans to make a batch of hummus. It just fits inside the blender cup and makes it perfectly smooth. If it’s used as a chopper it’s best to fill only about half full of whatever you’re chopping to get more uniform size pieces. Glad I bought this a while ago at a better price, but at the current price it’s still a great bargain.

We recently had to switch two of our dogs over to a fresh food and bc said dogs eat like they’ve never had a meal in their entire lives, we needed to chop the already smallish chunks into teeny tiny chunks. This chopper does the job perfectly. It doesn’t turn the food into a puréed mush. It just chops the chunks into a fine texture that makes it harder for our two tiny idiots to choke themselves while eating. They tend to just swallow food instead of actually chewing it. This thing will likely never see a vegetable so I can’t speak to its performance on that.It’s pretty powerful for its size. We fill it half to 3/4 of the way w dog food chunks and a couple pulses and a 2-3 second constant blend and voila! Way better than trying to mash it up w a fork. We do a whole bag of FreshPet at a time so we have almost a weeks worth of food ready to go at a time.It takes up very little counter space and so far we haven’t heard or smelled anything weird/burnt coming from it. Washes up easily whether by hand or running thru the dishwasher. She’s cheap and she does the job perfectly!

Perfect compact size for small jobs. Works great with just a push of the button. I needed something to cut up all the vegetables to make dog food and this is perfect. Saves a lot of time and cleans up easy. Would recommend!
