So far, so AWESOME
I've used this wok for about a month now and it has become my new favorite kitchen item. Here are what I like about it:- It weighs only 3 lb 2.5 oz, so it's pretty light and fairly easy to "toss". For comparison, I have a 10" stainless steel skillet that weighs about the same. For another comparison, it's more than 1 lb lighter than the 10" Lodge cast iron skillet, but the wok has a much larger capacity.- Build quality looks and feels very good. Unlike other woks that are just beaten out of a sheet of steel and therefore have a flat rim, this wok's rim has a "lip" to it. I'm not sure how else to describe it or if it has any practical advantages, but it looks nice. Maybe it makes the wok a little sturdier too?- The nitrided, pre-seasoned surface is very even, beautiful, and durable. I've had some limited experience with carbon steel woks before, and developing and keeping the seasoning layer was always a challenge. This wok, however, has held up very well for me through regular use, even cooking acidic things sometimes. It's obviously not as non-stick as teflon, but with adequate pre-heating and oil, it does pretty well. Even when I accidentally burn food on the wok, it was relatively easy to wash/scrape off.- It is important to me that this does not contain harmful chemicals such as PFAS. They claim it's chemical-free. I sure hope that's the case.- I like the clear glass lid which fits well. When the wok is hot, it expands, so the lid leaves a little crack open, but it's not serious.- I love the shape. It's got a bit of a larger flat bottom and nice tall walls compare to some other woks. It's almost a hybrid between a wok and a sautee pan. Or you can say it's more of a bowl shape than a dish shape. I love that shape, because (1) that gives me more flat area for tasks like searing, (2) when I push food around, it doesn't fall out of the pan as easily, (3) the overall volume is larger so I can cook more food at once.- The metal spatula that it comes with seems decent as well, though I haven't used it so much because I'm a little nervous about damaging the seasoning layer, even though they say metal utensils are ok. The bottom of the wok, which touches my gas stove, seems a bit scratched up now. I imagine the inside might look like that too if I'm too rough on it.- The price is right. It was ~$45 when I bought it.The wok has the thermal characteristics that I would expect of a carbon steel wok: it heats up fast, but not very evenly, and it doesn't hold heat very well. That's not a knock on this wok; that's just how most carbon steel woks are, and this one is no exception. You just have to know what to expect and adjust to it.

High-performance wok for long-term use
The introduction says that this carbon steel wok is made of high-quality black carbon steel, which is more durable, non-stick, easy to clean and scratch-resistant, allowing the flat bottom wok to heat up faster and more evenly for achieving optimal cooking performance.— ——Based on the above introduction, I will talk about my experience after trying it.1) Sturdy and durable - the inner wall is thicker and the overall weight is heavier, and it feels smooth to the touch. Can feel the material is really high quality and the glass lid is beautiful and fits my gas stove. 2) Non-stick, easy to clean and scratch resistant - easy to clean and the removable handle is convenient. My suggestion is to use a sponge and rag then wash with mild soapy water. I have been using this wok pan frequently for half a month, and I have tried almost most of the dishes, and there is no coating peeling. Great nonstick pan! As for scratch resistance, I don't think a normal scraper can reach a non-stick surface unless you scrape it hard with a very sharp and sharp tool.3) Faster and more even heating - Take Fried Chicken with Onion as an example, it took me less than 8 minutes from putting oil in to out of the pan, and it usually takes at least 12-14 minutes for my old wok pan. I love how this new wok pan looks delicious and appetizing, it's a shame I didn't take a photo of the food at the time, otherwise, I would have attached it.Summary: I will definitely give it 5 stars because this wok pan deserves those stars. For the price, its performance is completely worth or even exceeded, a Chinese wok with high-cost performance. I would recommend buying it, you will never regret it!

Better than I expected
I ordered this pan because I'm trying to do more stir fry recipes and my current, totally flat bottom, cookware wasn't getting the results I wanted. I was very surprised at the weight and construction of the pan. Much better quality than I expected. I am cooking for 2, so the size is perfect. It doesn't feel like it has a coating on it, more like that is just the way the steel is made. So I'm not worried about using it at higher temps or scraping it up with the included metal spatula. And I can say, after several uses, it is nonstick and it washes up very well. I have a flat top range and it sits well on the burner and did not leave any marks on the stove top after use. I do hand wash it. I know the handle is removable but I see no reason to fill up the dishwasher with it. I love the clear lid and I'm now using it on my cast-iron skillet as well. It is so great to see what your food is doing with out removing the lid. I actually don't use a lid for stirfry but I'm glad it was included. The spatula is also a nice bonus. it is great for scraping the bowl of the pan and it works really well for serving as well. I did hand was because of the wood handle. I like the length and the weight of it too. Overall, I recommend this wok. I think it would make a great gift as well. And I look forward to a lot more delicious stir fry recipes in my future.

Still Cooking with the Wok - Not non-stick
I bought this wok for the reason that the introduction stated high-quality black carbon steel, which is more durable, non-stick, easy to clean and scratch-resistant, allowing the flat bottom wok to heat up faster and more evenly for achieving optimal cooking performance. For the 10 months of using it, the wok is good in high quality, easy to clean, and heat up faster; however, it is not non-stick. I used it to cook fish, but the fish skin is always stuck on the wok; unless you pre-heat the wok to very hot, then 80% of the cooking will not stuck on the wok. Other than that, it is a gook wok. I liked it better than other pans that i bought.

Perfect addition to my other cooking implements
Sturdy, just the right weight for me. Large enough to cook just about anything. Very easy to clean. The metal spatula was a plus in that if they did not send it, I would have hesitated to use a metal spatula for fear it would scratch the wok. The cover keeps everything warm.
