OMFreakingG!!!Thanks Heavens for this marvelous neck fan...Turbo all the way down here in the south with temps averaging 101 in the shade on a good day this year. The unit is very quiet and well made.. Good quality plastic. They even showed me how it comes apart in the manual.. That's uber rare anymore. Folks say they can hear the unit running when on Turbo and on Cell with my BT Headset, but it is a pleasant hum. It will catch hair a bit if your have long hair and it is wavy or straight and long enough, but not badly or often, so just wear your hair up.. The unit needs a bit of mesh under the outside vent to stop it from snagging the hair. I simply had to take this thing for a test drive at full press monte.. It did amazingly well and even helped cool me off when I got back. You can also run this thing on line power so if out for a long time, carry a battery bank with you for extended run. The unit does blow close to the face and back of the head.. It's what I needed... I have already recommended this unit to two friends and even some one on the road I knew who needed one due to him being outside a lot in this dastardly heat we have this year.. It's the hottest it has been since the last major heat wave in 1980 when it reached 119F.. Hottest this year so far has been 110F... This one is a bit pricy, but worth it.

Seriously, it’s Day 1 with this and I love it so much that I’ve told a bunch of people. It’s currently a bajillion degrees in Los Angeles and I’ve been putting off outdoor chores for weeks, hoping for a cooldown that will never happen. I was cleaning my hotbox of a garage for 45 minutes today wearing this and didn’t even sweat. Great price, love the tan color. Considering venturing into the world again before October!Con: It catches my baby hairs inside it, but to stay cool, it can have them.

Ok any of these things that blow hard are going to be louder than the ones that dont. Thats more or less a physics issue so you'll have to take it up with your deity of choice. If it has good battery life too then that means larger battery and therefore heavier. Take that up with Einstein. I havent tested how long it runs yet but it does move a lot of air. If your expecting a built in AC also known as refrigeratoin then you probably shouldnt be shopping by yourself, or even go online. While it may be possible to miniaturize a modern refrigeration system it would still need to vent the heat it removes somewhere.... There are little AC's for camping but they have an exhaust. If they dont they arent real refrigeration. Theres also solid state cooling using semiconductors called Peltier coolers. Some of the more $$$ neck fans have them and they may work to some extent. Not sure how well though as they require a difference in temperature to pull heat away. The laws of thermodynamics are just kinda like that. Not sure how often the air around you is higher than your body temp but there are some little tricks they can use like heatsinks and fans. Again, not sure how well or for how long they'd work. This one seems well made, its a little beefy but that seems to be necessary to me for the reasons I explained. If your one of the billion people that moved to Florida over the winter then.....haha. This is just what its like, you moved to the surface of the Sun. They say its the humidity but there is no humidity on the Sun. Get one of these fans and you may not even hear the alligator mating calls! Its a nice fan, different modes, independent control of the back of the neck fan. Definitely a conversation starter. Usually when someone says hey what is that? I usually tell them its backing up my consciousness to the Amazon cloud. Then I ask if they hadnt heard of it yet? They usually say they have. Their brains are getting cooked by the heat so I cant blame them. My brain is nice and cool because I bought this fan. Guess I could have wiped the fingerprint off my lens before I took the pic but it looks just like the ad pics so meh.

1. Airflow: The product blows air directly into your face and into your eyes. Definitely cools down your face, but with a constant blow of air directly into your eyes, there is a chance that eyes can become dry. The product is advertised as 3D Air Supply, but the air blow is very directional; right into your face and face only. I recommend inverting the opening of the air ducts so that they face your body, not your face. This may not keep your face cool, but your upper body is kept cool because the air is now blowing toward the artery and vein in your neck and shoulder.2. Comfort: The product is advertised as "relieves pressure feeling", but I definitely felt the weight of the product around my neck. I have not tried other brands or other models of the same brand, so I cannot make the comparison. However, I was hoping that the product would feel light, almost unnoticeable. After wearing it for 10-20 minutes, I became more comfortable with the product, however, I still felt that I had a yoke around my neck.3. Noise: The product is definitely noisy. The product was never advertised as silent or noiseless, so there is no false advertisement. However, I was hoping it would be more quite. The noise level is high enough even at the lowest setting and I was bothered by it. A good example is that when you turn this product on at the lowest setting in the church service, people around you will be bothered by the noise. If you invert the opening of the air ducts, you will be less bothered by the noise. However, the overall noise level is not reduced, so people around you may be bothered by it.4. Battery life: I have not used the product long enough to fully test the battery life.Conclusion: If you are in a setting where constant air blowing to your face is necessary to keep you cool, this product is good enough. With my suggestion of using the product upside down, the product definitely keeps your upper body cool. However, I don't think this product is worth $50.99. I recommend against buying this product if you are paying the full amount.

as a product I really loved it I bought one before and it was very helpful and quiet and the battery was awesome stayed for 2 days 8 hours a day , really good quality but not this one because it was defective makes high noises

I have purchased and returned 8 different ones, needed it for a trip to hot Alberta. Fan is quiet and charged it once so still going Strong over 7 hours of use so far...Does not have to be top of the line to work great. Sure it doesn't let you see a number for charge left. But damn it works great and would definitely get a second one...

This is about my 5th neck fan, I have longish hair which wrecked the 1st one within a week. They keep me so cool in work though, so I bought another one in the same store- about 12 euro. I have bought 3 of these and a cheap (10e) amazon one, and they always die within about 2-3 weeks.This fan is the best. It is made of a very durable material yet is super light weight. i just bought a 2nd one for my bestie. Significantly better quality than any other one i've seen anywhere.
