This is it...WOW!These chickpeas are just fabulous. They are tasty and crunchy ( not teeth breaking crunchy), and not dry at all ( very important). I am a big fan of chickpeas and I may be biased here because I grew up on chickpeas. It was my go to childhood snack on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea where I come from. Street vendors and artisanal food shops would roast themon the spot and everyone would line up for the first batch. For years, I had them shipped to the US because I couldn't find them here. I've tried other chickpea brands in the market but I was disappointed by their quality, texture and drieness. To be fair, my expectations weren't very high either because, where I come from roasting chickpeas is an art form and it takes 3 weeks in total to soak themin water, rest them fora week and roast them afterwards and repeat the process 3 times. This technique has being perfectedfor centuries in that partof world and is passedon from one generation to another. Lebby chickpeas, as far as I can tell from the taste and texture are roasted through this technique which separates them from the otherchickpea brands. I strongly recommend them to anyone who is into plant based snacking, bored of chips and nuts, moms with kids who look for alternative healthy snacks. You won't be disappointed. I received my first 4 pack but 3 of the 4 had fallen out. I contacted the company and they promptly sent me a new 4 pack. They do need to work on the packaging for mailing, but the product is great. We've only tried the chocolate-my 4 year old thinks they are candy.
