Oh Snap!
We obtained this case 3 years ago to hold the pencil, allowing it to charge via the iPad as intended and still appreciate its protection level, thin profile, durability & magnetic strength. All the buttons still function, the pencil still charges and we’ve never experienced Magic Keyboard connectivity loss. The color option complements our decor and the noise level is quiet making it a value for the price. We highly recommend this item for a highly functional working experience.

Great addition to my iPad Air and Magic Keyboard
Snaps on easy and works great with the Magic Keyboard. As others have stated, access to the volume buttons is limited. Easy solution is to go to Settings, Accessibility, Touch then turn on AssistiveTouch. A button will show on the screen. You can move the button wherever you like. You can program buttons for volume up and volume down by going to Customize Tap Level Menu which is located below AssistiveTouch. I looked this up online and found the step by step instructions. Now I can control the volume by using this button on my screen. The button can also be invisible is you want. Lots of options. I have no problems getting my Apple Pencil out of the slot either. Happy with this purchase.

Great solution
Works great and is a great solution for having a case and using the keyboard. Taking off one star because the thin part on the pen holder broke after about a week, but it doesn’t impact the use much

Exactly what I needed!
Honestly I was scared to buy this because there were no reviews and no rating on it so i decided to be the guinea pig. To begin, I love the case! The leather makes it so easy to hold and it pairs perfectly with my magic keyboard. In my opinion it’s worth it! I would totally pick this case over the snap buddy. The only thing that sucks is that i have a silicon protector over my apple pencil and it fits very snug in the holder. However, i still love the case! I finally have something that protects the sides of my ipad.

It could be perfect and better than Coverbuddy... if it actually worked.
The good: This is case feels much better than the Coverbuddy. The "vegan leather" backing feels good in the hand, helps make it less slippery when used as a tablet, and makes using it on a hard surface as a writing pad with the Apple Pencil much better. The plastic feels sturdier than the Coverbuddy, especially the plastic around the Pencil tray. This is the area where my Coverbuddy started to crack. Finally, the way it clips on to the iPad is better than the Coverbuddy too because it has two more small lips that click on the corners and they feel thicker than the Coverbuddy. One of the two retaining corners on my Coverbuddy broke off, which is why I bought this Moft case. Now THE BAD: It does not work. To be more descriptive, the metal contacts that are needed to work with the Apple Magic Keyboard are poorly mounted. If even one of the three contacts does not connect the iPad will not work with the Magic Keyboard for either typing or charging. As you can see in the photo, the middle contact is recessed and will not make contact with the Magic Keyboard. It will work intermittently if the contact happens to pop back out but that requires me to tap in on the backside. THIS IS AFTER TWO DAYS OF USE. I want to love this case and love the function of it as a case that (is supposed to) works seamlessly with the Magic Keyboard but with this issue it's absolutely annoying. I will have to return it but do I gamble and hope another one will not do this?

Easy install, seems to work well
**update** I have been using this almost exclusively with the iPad keyboard and really love it. Switched my three stars to 5; access to the pencil and volume buttons could use some adjusting but otherwise, it's my favorite and has held up really well with daily use. I will update in a few weeks, but so far the video explains it all. No real complaints. Easy to install, does what it should.

Great, but won’t last.
The case is pretty good. I wanted something that would keep my Apple Pencil attached when pulling my iPad in and out of my backpack, and it does a great job at that. I also wanted something that would work when attached to my Apple Magic Keyboard, and that was good too, for a while… As others have stated, the metal pins on the back of the case that connect to the Magic Keyboard will be eventually recede into the case and not come back out, causing connection issues with the Magic Keyboard. Eventually, I had enough with fiddling with my iPad and the keyboard to get it to work, and I reached out to MOFT. They would not issue a replacement as it had passed the six month warranty window (a small window, which I now believe is because they know their products fail within a year). They gave me a 20% off discount code, so I purchased another through their website. Well, as others have mentioned, the volume buttons are hard to use, but I could always live it. But yesterday the volume up button completely broke and fell out, and the case it too thick on the side to be able to press the button on the iPad. I checked to see when I’d ordered it to see if it was still covered by warranty, and I bought it six months and 18 days ago, meaning it’s not covered. It’s really unfortunate because it’s the only case that works for me, what with the pencil coverage and keyboard compatibility, but it just can’t even last a year. Also, the company rep I emailed with said “ We understand your frustration with the damage to your iPad case. However, please note that during normal use, it is possible for accessories to become damaged over time. We take great care in ensuring the quality of our products, but unfortunately, wear and tear is inevitable. We suggest taking extra care when handling the accessory, and if the damage occurs within our warranty period, we will be happy to assist you in finding a solution.”, which seemed like a cop out and probably what someone would say if they sold a product that they knew would fail in a year.

Great to be able to transfer between magic keyboard and tablet form.
I love the ease of using the magic keyboard and pulling my ipad off to use as a writing tablet while still having some protection. Works seamlessly with the magic keyboard and with the apple pencil. Haven't dropped my ipad, so I can't speak to its protection, but will update if anything happens.

Almost Perfect
Its MOFT, what do you expect. Good Quality. Unfortunately, its not a full body protection, but its not a deal breaker for me. Still recommending this.

Not worth the price
First off, let me highlight that I do like Moft products, they are generally amazing with great user experience. This one however is quite a disappointment. I was looking for a case for my iPad Air as I use it with the Magic keyboard - this seemed like a good choice. Issues are as follows: 1) Next to impossible to use the volume buttons when the case is on. It really is inconvenient and very tough to press up or down. Destroys the overall experience of using the iPad. 2) The case itself is very very light, and one side of the iPad is completely exposed. If you end up dropping it, and if it lands on the completely-exposed side, it will badly impact your iPad. So for me, no point in such an expensive case if it results in such a minimal level of protection.
