96030 Kool-It Evaporator and Heater Foam Cleaner (2 Pack)

It is the only thing that got the moldy stink out of my car. Very happy with this product. Do it once or twice a year to keep the smell pleasant.

I don’t normally write reviews but I would make a whole infomercial for this product. My car (2023 expedition) had an awful musty/cat pee like smell whenever it was exposed to moisture; turning on the AC was an assault to the senses. We tried everything: replacing the cabin air filter, removing it all together, spraying Lysol into the intake, etc. Nothing worked. We were seriously considering a new car. This product worked beautifully. No more smell. Thank you!

Excellent product. After performing several evaporator services using various products. The KOOL- IT kit has been by far the best and most effective. Highly recommended.

Works exactly as described. Hardest part is getting under the car, finding the ac drain line and snaking the tube in. After that, it's easy. And when you're done, your ac won't smell like a swamp anymore. Totally worth the price.

Overall happy with the product. This is not of foam which was disappointing but it did fill the vent cavity well. The product got rid of the mildew smell that we were dealing with for well over a year. I'm angry that I didn't apply the product much sooner. Mint scent is really nice and strong at first but quickly goes away and now I don't smell it al all.

if you need to clean the evaporator coil in your car, this is possibly the best product to use. I have used this is 3 cars in all the different methods. Firstly in a Mini or any car where the ac drain is easily found and accessible, just feed the tube up as high as it will go from outside the car and empty the can. Wait 15-20 minutes and then turn the ac on on the lowest setting and let it run for 10-15 minutes. The smell is nice enough i drove the car to the gas station to fill up with just my window open to let the condensation wash out the residue. Secondly in a car where you can access the evaporator from inside e.g. tesla, you can remove the air filter, poke the hose into the evap chamber and empty the can in there. Wait 15-20 mins until the foiam dissolves, pout the filter back and run AC on low as before. Lastly where you can't do the other methods, then find the most central vents and poke the hose down there as far as it will go. Again empty the can, wait 20 mins and then run the ac. In this 3rd case you may need to turn on the ac on the lowest setting, set the air distribution tot those central vents to open the internal flaps when you feed the hose in. Once its in, turn off the AC leaving the hose in place. At that point empty the can in there and follow the rest of the wait and then run the ac process. e.g. some Mercedes have the drain hidden above the driveshaft so this may be an easier way to get it done. Note that for me the Mercedes needed 2 cans as i had not done it for 10 years.

This was cheaper that others, but not sure if it worked. Used product via the drip tube, did not seem to foam well, or stay in system long enough to clean. It liquefied almost immediately and ran out of drip tube. However, you could smell the product/scent after using. Still have one can and will try to foam from inside of evaporator housing via fan later. Due issues, gave an average rating, but will update after second application.

The product works great in cleaning the ac in the car and portable ac. Unfortunately, the amount of oz's is small compared to other brands. I bought this because of the straw/plastic tube makes it easy to get in those tight spots. The price is good but not as much oz's.
