Christopher Knight Home 312848 Crystal Outdoor Acacia Wood Folding Adirondack Chairs

We ordered a pair of these. They had good reviews for one, they looked cool and they would support up to 400lbs. I myself am not that Big of dude (well kinda) but I do tip the scales at around 250ish.Shipping was around a week and half. They came packaged really well in separate boxes. The first chair came together in about 30 minutes using using minimal tools, the second chair came together in about 20 minutes after seeing the ins and outs of the first build. Instructions were pretty good with just a lil interpretation.After almost a couple of weeks the lower rail cracked and snapped on of course my chair, the other side was still fine. I set about trying to figure why it failed, was it an errant cone like shockwave from my boney butt? I think not.The break appears to have originated at the cup holder area that is cut out on the bottom of rail and extends upwards to where one of the seat slats is screwed into the top of the rail. Upon closer inspection these were probably the instigator for starting the crack and this particular piece of had a really weird grain structure that almost appeared crumbly at first like a pressed type of wood. Essentially a bunk piece of Acacia.So I went to look up warranty info on whom to contact? Using the Amazon link to connect with the manufacturer took me nowhere. But the phone number contact did work. I got a recording and then a then a hang up as I waited.. Flustered I called again and noted the message saying I could get service by contacting "Noble House Furniture" which is apparently who sells this particular line of chairs for Christopher Knight. Not sure on the relationship?I looked up Noble House Furniture in California on Google. It was here that I was able to finally start the claims process.I would probably have given this 3.5 to 4 stars if it had not been for the Outstanding Customer Service and follow up of Chariza and Tishanna. I explained the situation how it failed. They asked for info on the item, receipts from Amazon and verified the chair model along with sending pictures of the part that needed to be replaced. I reviewed what they sent and was advised they would follow up with a tracking number. It was in my in box the following morning.Although there were a few hiccups getting it all started the end result is what matters the most. Good customer service keeps your business thriving. Chariza and Tishanna both did this for Noble House Furniture. So 5 stars. My replacement part came within a weeks time and we are enjoying our nights watching the skies. Nice chairs.
