There are three pointers on the left end of the scale base. What information do these three pointers give to the user?

It will tell if your load is off. The lower one then you are low, the higher one then you are high The middle one then you are right on.

What are the dimensions of the base?

BASE. Dimension, 3.65 X 4.20 X 12.60. inches

Does ohaus still make this scale for rcbs? my old rcbs scale says “made by ohaus” and has the name ohaus cast into the base.

Don’t think so. Mine only says RCBS

does it come with a calibration weight?

No but as it is a mechanical beam scale it doesn't go out of calibration unless damaged. It just needs to be leveled with an empty pan to zero before use and when it's moved. These are much more reliable than any electronic scale under $500.
