I was so excited to receive these earrings, especially for photo shoot purposes and to use on stage. I have to emphasize that I was not let down by this purchase. They are so attention grabbing and unique that I have already given the link to a number of friends and acquaintances.Let me start with the color. I ordered the gold ones and the color is much more alive and vibrant than what is shown in the advertised pictures. These are much more "golden" in person. The details and designs on the coins, which include portraits, are beautiful. The coins themselves are a tiny bit thinner than they seem to be in the pictures. But that is a plus, since the earrings are heavy enough.About the weight, once you put them on the first time, you ARE going to feel that they are heavy due to the fact that you compare them with other average earrings. BUT you get used to it in a matter of minutes and NOT AT ALL feel uncomfortable. My mom has very thin earlobes and she could have these on for 3 hours. I, myself, have very sensitive skin that shows bad reaction to most pieces of jewelry that are not made of gold or silver, yet, I was very comfortable with these. I had no allergic reactions. I did NOT even have to dip them in Vaseline or nude nail polish. So I guess what I'm trying to convey here is that, they are heavier than the average pair of earrings but they are very comfortable and you will get used to them very soon (in 2-3 mins).I also expected them to make a lot of noise but to my surprise, they do not sound annoying at all. I have had my own share of gypsy, coined attire and accessories and I must say, these are definitely not the noisiest on the list. I love how shiny they are too. Shiny, unique and well-made. The coins do not seem to be falling off easily and the appearance is not at all cheap. Altogether, I love these earrings and have many occasions to use them; as a part of my costume on stage or at parties, as a great set of jewelry at parties, and for photo shoot purposes. I honestly recommend these if you think you have the same taste as I.

These earrings are BIG, BOLD and SEXY and they did not disappoint! The more coins the better! The way they brush against my shoulders and neck is wonderful. I love listening to the jingling that the coins make and my wife finds it a turn on ;) Don't be fooled, these have some weight to them but I like earrings that way. With all my heavy earrings I always replace the thin cheese slicer ear wires with 18ga wires. Much more comfortable and I can wear them all day without a problem.Totally obsessed with these earrings. Many mornings I put them in for the drive to work and take them out in the parking lot. These are not for the office. When I leave for the day I put them back in for the drive home. Crazy huh?

These are absolutely gorgeous and huge! If you want to make a statement, these are the ones you need. Unfortunately they are heavy and my old then lobes could not hold them. If you have fat, thick, nice earlobes, go for it.

Finally! I love the size- be ready for the weight; they are heavy.

These were beautiful but waaayyyy to heavy! They were much bigger than they appeared! Definitely about the size of my whole jaw. I love big outrageous earrings so i would have donned them fiercely but they were too heavy even for me!!! Too bad bc they were so cute. But sent them back bc they definitely would have gotten caught or just hung so low that my lobes tore.

These earrings are absolutely beautiful!!!! I'm in love with how they fit in with my love of boho and ethnic style clothing. They appear to be quite heavy but they are a actually very comfortable to wear! I received lots of complements when I wore them. I will definitely be purchasing them in silver too! I look forward to matching them with many of my boho chic outfits!!! They make a great gift because the earrings arrive in the most beautiful gift box and are packed to resist damaging! One coin fell off when I wore them but it is very easy to reattach with your hands or a pair of tweezers don't be thwarted by the price they are very sturdy and well made earrings.

Amazingly beautiful earrings. I read other reviews about them being heavy but ignored them thinking I'd be fine. They are extra heavy. I had to rearrange them and take off half of the coins to help my situation. Besides that, exactly as advertised!
