Edit: Good product backed by excellent customer service!
Updated review:After expressing my issues with the first guitar I received the seller they promptly messaged me back and remedied the situation. I now have a perfectly working guitar hero controller and that definitely earned back a lot of my confidence in the product! I still think the fret buttons are really stiff, especially if you're accustomed to playing faster/more challenging songs and could use a slight modification in the rubber/silicone supporting the fret buttons to soften them. Nevertheless, the build of the guitar feels exactly like the original, even the design and button placement look identical to the OEM.Initial review:In the time I had it working, it was a very pleasant experience. The fret buttons could use some work, so I swapped the buttons and silicone gel with my softened modification, an operation that isn't very invasive and only involves the neck of the guitar, and having done this successfully so many times, I know what I'm doing. Once that is done, the guitar continued to work almost flawlessly for a while. Note that I've had some infrequent issues with the guitar's Wii controller connection to my Raphnet USB adapter even before any modifications were made, the issue being that the controller would not give any response for no apparent reason. This was remedied by lightly bending/moving the guitar's Wii connection in some other direction. Again, this was somewhat rare, only happening for a moment every couple hours or so of play. After one night of playing with zero issues, setting it down as usual and waking up the next day expecting to play some more, it simply would not work, at all. I couldn't think of any obvious reasons. The frets, the strum bar, start button, nothing. My PC still recognized the connection when plugged in, but it would not function. My guess is that there is probably some solder cracking/stress somewhere along the board. I opened the back of the guitar to check for any obvious breaks or loose ribbons/cables but I didn't see anything. For what it's worth, I don't regret the purchase, and I'd really like to give it another chance. I submitted a message to the seller several days ago asking for any troubleshooting advice/repair options they could give me rather than me outright returning the item, but I've yet to receive an answer. $55 for a few months of playing; I must be one of the lucky ones whose guitar lasted that long, as others apparently have similar issues which broken down much sooner. Nevertheless, I definitely expect these things to last much longer when it hasn't even been abused or played on for more than about 40 hours since I got it I'd say. But a QC is definitely in order.

Brings me back!
This guitar controller handles and feels pretty well when playing Clone Hero. It's very reminiscent to the classic controllers!I have no major complaints about it. However, I think there may be something wrong with the whammy bar, but it's not a huge deal breaker, so I'm keeping my rating at 5 stars. This guitar also works with Fortnite Festival, as long as you use the V3 adapter with it!I've enjoyed this guitar for the past year! No big problems with it!

Please never buy this.
I bought one and tried it, the green and orange buttons had a mind of its own, it was genuinely unusable. So i return it and get another one a week later, it has the same issue with the same two buttons, but slightly less of a problem. The next day i come back to it and the strum bar no longer works, it is genuinely unusable. Go to shopgoodwill or something, this is no where near worth the $70 i paid for it.

Good for new players but…
If you’re a new player to guitar hero or someone who hasn’t played in over a decade this guitar will work fine, but if you’re looking for a Wii GH guitar, you can find OEM ones in good condition for around the same price (pretty common to find them for cheaper at around 45-50 bucks, also you may strike gold at a thrift store and get one for $10.), and the OEM ones just feel better to use. I would say the strum button is pretty loose, which isn’t a deal breaker, but it feels cheap to use after using an OEM controller. I don’t think this guitar is bad by any means, just in my opinion a little overpriced. If you have a little bit of patience you can get a Red Octane wii guitar for cheaper and it’ll feel better to use.

It works perfect for Wii
This guitar is responsive and the Wiimote fits perfectly in the Wiimote slot, the cord ticks right in and helps keep it snug so it doesn’t rattle around or disconnect. The only thing I don’t like is that the neck seems a little shorter but I’m used to playing with Eockband guitars so it may be a standard GH size. I’m very happy with this guitar and thy I can play my Rockband games because the Bluetooth connection for the RB guitar is too laggy. The price is excellent to since these days you can’t find guitar with dongle for under $200.

Plug in part not working well
The connector wire where I plug in the wii remote, it's almost like it's detached or something? It's wonky. After I plug it in, and i move the remote around to put it in the slot, it starts to click things for me. It still works well but the connector is jank when you plug it in and move it around, afterwords it works fine. To be honest I'm thinking of returning this one and getting a new one because i dont know if it's just the one i got?

Great new guitar hero guitar
This was a new, after market Wii-compatible guitar hero guitar. It worked well and was easy to put together. The buttons are a little stiff but they are responsive and functioned well.

Great guitar for Clone Hero.
I've had this guitar for over a year now and it has been working great! Just suddenly, the guitar randomly stopped working out of the blue. Things don't last forever, but honestly, this was a good buy! Wii guitars or any other guitars should not be 100$! That's a little too pricy for something that is really old. When the price goes down for this guitar, you should get it. Don't get this at full price, there's no point, and it's a waste of a 100$ for just a plastic guitar.

Not compatible with Rock Band 1
No where in the description does it state that it won't work with Rock Band 1 when going to purchase. It isn't until going through the instructions that you see this. Very disappointing.

Pretty good but blemish
Product works good as far as I can tell But came with a crack on the front plate that looks like it was polished to cover... I don't care enough about the crack to send back but otherwise it's just for guitar hero so works for it's purpose
