So, we opened the bag, did a little assembly and bolted them right on to our 2015 Tacoma. Clamps fit well and bolt up snug. Some of the machine work looks off center, but it's not an issue. We bolted a kayak rack on. Worked perfectly.Notes: Aluminum seems to leave some residues, so wear gloves or wash them first. Also, the rack we used had a lip that interferes with the track, this is seen in the video but is unrelated to the quality and effectiveness of the clamps. In fact, it shows how strong they are as they hold the rack well without a solid base.

The business that put on my canopy used the traditional straight up and down clamps and the bolts bent (one so bad that it warped the piece that goes into the rail) and the clamps loosened. I bought new bolts that were solid 3/4 and thread 1/4, but they still bent. Put these new ones on and the way that they're made will ensure that the bolts don't bend. They went on nice and tight. I bought the six pack because I go off-road quite a bit and I wanted my canopy to be super secure, which I think it will be. 10/10 recommend.

Nice sturdy clamps but the supplied 2.25 inch bolts were too short for my 2018 Gen 3 Tacoma rails. However a quick trip to my local hardware store for some new 3/8 x 3 inch bolts solved the problem.

I bought these to replace some inferior clamps that came with a canvas cap. The others were more square and would slip no matter how carefully and tightly I installed them. These clamps are much better in design and work perfectly.
