works just as expected. after replacing 4 mercedes resonators i am hoping that my resonator problems are over.sprinter runs great.i might add that it was easy to install. probably took less than half an hour .

After replacing 3 plastic turbo resonator eliminators on my Dodge Sprinter 2500 T1N I discovered this solid aluminum replacement. Installs in about 30 minutes and has worked flawlessly. Be sure to use the hose clamp provided and it should be a permanent solution to this class issue.

Did what it was to do. Easy install, all lined up no extra time or pieces. Vehicle been running fine since install.

I bought my version of this not on Amazon - it was $70 elsewhere - but I'm pretty sure these are so simple they are more or less the same. The original turbo resonator fails right at the seam, what a piece of junk, and to fail so predictably. The bolts that hold the original part on are star bolts, so you might have to invest in a few sockets if you don't have that. I found the access to be a little cramped - from below - could not reach them from above. Anyway, once you ge the old broken part out, this new one will be a permanent fix. The old resonator did muffle the turbo whistle, and with this you'll hear that whistle, but it's pretty benign. Try not to mess with the input side of the turbo - there's no reason to, this part fits on the output. If you mess with the input and get anything in there (glob of grease, engine grime / debris / your wedding ring) the turbo will be destroyed when it gets sucked in.
