it evened out and this works better than anything else I've ever tried (deodorant
I have been a Primal Pit Paste believer for years! It works well for me, though there are a things you should know before you try:1) there's a transition period. It'll take a few days to adjust to the new deodorant, so you may be a little sweatier than usual during that time. For me, it evened out and this works better than anything else I've ever tried (deodorant, perspirant, etc)2) It's a little weird to apply it with your fingers, but you'll get used to it3) Try not to let it melt. While you can stir it and let it set back up, it's never really the same texture (still useable, just a little less pleasant)4) If you're traveling, you might want to buy a smaller, separate glass or plastic container. This large jar lasts a long time, but you probably won't need the whole thing on your trip. Also, a smaller amount will melt!5) Others may disagree, but I think the best scents are lavender and unscented. Whatever you do, I'd suggest staying away from the lemongrass and thyme scent--it sort of mimics the smell of body odor and is generally funky. Would probably rate that particular scent 2/5 stars. All of the other scents are OK, but lavender & unscented seem to be the real winners.

Great and it works!
I love this stuff. I make one that is almost identical to this, but I love this for when I'm too lazy to make my own. The one I make and this one are by far the best deodorants I've ever used in my life. My husband also feels the same way. My whole life I always reacted to deodorant - itchy bumps, etc. This one and my own are the only ones that do not cause any irritation at all. It's nice and creamy and spreads nicely. The amount is very small (2oz), but you only need a tiny bit. I don't use it every day. About once a week is enough for me even with exercise. I also don't use soap under my armpits in order to keep the little bacteria colony balanced and happy (I shave with coconut oil). Since I stopped putting soap under my pits, I rarely ever smell. Since I ordered it from Amazon, I noticed a lot of little shops around town sell it.My only issue is I wish I had thought of marketing my own deodorant. I've been making it for over a decade and never once thought anyone would be into it. My loss. Great for Primal Pit Paste for having more initiative than I.

Love this product!
I love this product. This is the 5th one I’ve bought of this product. The scent is wonderful. You really don’t apply that much and there are days that go by that I forget to apply and I don’t stink. I have a thing about body odor and in the first couple of weeks of use you will notice you smell quicker than you would with your store bought deodorant. All you have to do to get rid of the odor is reapply. It’s a tiny amount you use and it lasts forever. Eventually your body won’t produce much smell. I work in construction in Florida and I love this product. I back it up 100%. One jar typically lasts around 2-3 months for me. I’ve shared this product by purchasing for friends and loved ones and they have made the switch. I was not paid or given anything free for this review I just genuinely love it. I will add though that every single one of the jars that I have purchased (lavender (my favorites s this ordered more often), rose, and unscented) have had the cap break along the threaded part. It still keeps it closed and doesn’t spill out deodorant. I prefer the jar versus the stick. The stick takes a bit getting used to because it doesn’t glide easily unless it is warmed to body temperature at the application site of the stick. My girlfriend prefers the stick. Another advantage of the jar is if you are like me and live in a warm climate and it’s in your bag in the car or in the warm sunroom it will melt in the jar like your typical deodorant. However unlike your typical deodorant you can use the small wood stick provided to stir it back up well and close and refrigerate and within a couple of hours back to perfect. I have done this so many times and as long as you stir it well it will work perfectly. If you don’t stir well before refrigerating it can become grainy in texture in various parts of the jar. I went natural deodorant products just over a year and a half ago and have tried 4-5 different brands and scents within those brands and I love love love this primal pit paste lavender the best.

Great product, keeps the stink off, doesn't always hold the wetness in extreme temps with activity.
So I'm a pretty active gal, and this stuff works well. After years of using deodorant with questionable ingredients, I finally decided to switch to this. It's much, much better than expected. I don't have the skin irritation that some people seem to have, so that's a plus for me. I use it exactly as the jar says--a pea sized amount and rub it in pretty well. I haven't experienced any staining on my clothes thus far, and I've been using it for about a month now. I also didn't experience the smelly time frame people described when switching from aluminum to natural, so also lucky. It keeps the stink off--that's all I care about. The lavender smell is really pleasant, and not overpowering (also important to me--I mean, you know when you use the powder fresh deodorant and it's ALL you can smell? This doesn't do that). It counteracts any sweat smell for me--although I will say it doesn't always stave off the wetness. It's pretty good, but if it's muggy and 95, I sweat and this doesn't hold it off. However, it doesn't stink, so that's cool, and I think it's probably well worth avoiding the aluminum.
