One of these feeds a dusk to dawn light that I have plugged into the exterior of my home. If the dog barks towards the woods, I can flip the switch and grab the 12,000-lumen flashlight and light up the farm. Is it a deer? Is it a rabbit? Or is it an intruder? Or a coyote? Anyways, this switch is a life saver, literally. I like the little green light on it as well. I have others (the ones with the red switches) and they don't light up. I like these that light up better, even if the light is small. These do cost more than those, but both styles are very reasonably priced. I say grab a handful of both to have on hand. These are great for outdoor drop cords as well. They look great installed, are easy to install, and last for years. Ive used the other style for years and years, and I suspect these will last even longer.

Perfectly functional switch that allows for use of the other socket! Great looking! The only problem I have is that the small blue light is lit when the switch is in the "on" position. I use mine for a light so it would have been nice to have the light on either all the time (so I can find the switch more easily in the dark) or when it is in the "off" position.

Works great does not interfere with other plug. Like the On Light, small but effective, not annoying.

Great product. I like to turn appliances off when not being used to prevent fires. This allows that without unplugging the appliance. Saves wear & tear on the cord plug.

Those are useful switched plugs which I needed to control my studio lights separately from the rest of my equipment, and they worked perfectly for that purpose. However, and maybe it's just an issue with my power block, but they will wriggle a lot once in place though.
