Dometic SeaStar Xtreme Control Cable, CCX633XX

When I saw the name changed to Dometic I was concerned but as far as I can see it nothing has changed but the name.

replaces the old cable that was starting to break, works nice and smooth

This product provided a major improvement in the shifting ease on my 56' houseboat. No slack, and shifts like butter now.

Works as it should.

Had and older brokerage boat to get knocked out and couldn't find these cables anywhere on this side of the nation. What do you know right on Amazon. New vessel owner stopped by my local marina on the Way North installed them and they work flawlessly. The old owner was very pleased that the deal was sealed . The Real McCoy not a knockoff.

The Teleflex extreme cables cost a bit over morse 33 series.. nothing against morse - they make some great products!, but after installing these i was impressed by how stout everything feels... worth the few extra bucks to buy the extreme series - happy shifting!I will also say it took me a couple of attempts to get the right length, so the first two had to go back and get a little shorter - the process was a breeze returning and refund was perfect !... saved me a bunch of time running back and forth to the local marine shop.thanks guys !
