This stuff works great, it a plant based hold cream, that smells great too

Reminds me a bit of Teddy Boy Original which I used to love back about 10 years ago. Doesn’t harden. Looser more natural styles are probably the best application. Good smell too.

Great hold - perfect for long/straight asian hair. HOWEVER (like others have commented) the scent is overpoweringly patchouli. 5/5 if it weren't for that smell...

I tried a lot of the home brews but this is by far my favorite! I have pretty dry and wavy hair (curly if it gets long enough) and this seems to be made for it. Natural shine, makes my hair incredibly soft, conditioned, not greasy, and enough hold to get through the day. Scent is great if you like peppermint. I would describe as fresh, herbal, peppermint that goes away after a little bit given my smell is more on the muted side. If you want something with more hold there are other products out there but you sacrifice the soft feeling in the hair.

I was REALLY excited for this to arrive so i could finally give my hair something it deserves. I love the packaging and the ingredients this has but when opening it, there were tiny hard white bead like things scattered throughout. I'm not sure if maybe it was old or just a bad jar. I used it about 4 times so far and to me it feels like it's still able to treat my hair.EDIT: The product was definitely a little old upon arriving BUT i gotta say the performance when putting it into towel dried hair it firmly holds your hair and smells great when i let it treat my hair overnight, whe using it as a pre styler it REALLY enhances the effects and holds your hair way better and keeps it soft and manageable, really adds thickness to my fine long hair and definitely plan on buying another but this time from a different seller.

This is a great product!! I use it as a pre-styler on towel dryed hair and then use arcadian clay pomade as a post-styler after blow drying. The cedar smell is very subtle and coincides nicely with the fragrance of the arcadian clay.

decent but the price is to high

I've gone through a plethora of different hair products the past few years and they just didn't seem to give the right hold I was searching for. Eventually, I stumbled upon O'Douds brand through one of The Pomp's youtube videos. I explored their hair product line, saw that the description of this particular pomade fit my needs, ordered it. -- One year later it's still my favorite. This pomade provides a perfect amount of hold for any relaxed style on 3-5 inch hair and is malleable enough for you to be able to finger comb your hair back in place throughout the day. As an added bonus, this is also a conditioning cream which softens your hair when applied.
