This is the English translation of the Kingdom Hearts 2 novel. it spans thw first two books of the Japanese version. The second cover is included inside as a color page. The rest of the illustrations are in black and white, and very few of them.The text itself is great (although I am an avid kingdom hearts fan) and gives some insight to scenes from the game! Some of the stuff you do while playing is summarized... oddly? But not bad. The vocabulary isn't exactly challenging so good for young teen readers (and kid readers really). It isn't all encompassing so if you haven't played the games (or know them decently well) the pacing may seem odd and you may feel like you're missing something.As a translation, its fairly accurate. Amazing book that came on time with no wear or tear

Book came in good condition.The first half focuses heavily on the Roxas part of the story. Like the games, it feels like it takes ages to finally be with Sora, but in my opinion, it's more bearable in the novel. The moments with Riku, DiZ, and Namine make it a lot more interesting.

This is the first two light novel of Kingdom Hearts II, boundled togedher and dubbed as volume one. They do not mention this, but you can notice how poorly cropped the book's end, no last page, or author note whatsoever. Despite this, the quality and translation is awesome, I encourage every fan to purchase it.

My son loves this book. Actually both of them. They are 9 and 12. We were having issues finding books that my 9 year old would get into. He is a huge Kingdom Hearts fan and loves these books!

Reading this is similar to watching the cutscenes of the game except it has added many other scenes that only serve to help the reader understand more of the story.

That is can on time. And it is exactly how it is described.

i own the Japanese versions of these novels and the translation is actually pretty accurate! well done, localization team!
