VIOFO Suction Cup Mount (A119V3)
20250217: Installed suction mount device on interior flat clean glass as a test. The suction mount and A119V3 automatically detached from the glass in less than 3 minutes. I am returning the mount device.20250216: No instructions included. Item's OEM packaging is a small plastic zip-lock bag with no VIOFO markings. Will not work with the VIOFO GPS module attached. Must remove the GPS module for suction bracket to attach to the A119V3 dashcam.

Price is right for what it isSuction cup looks like it will hold well enoughBut I went with the glue pad instead

Does not work.
Will not stick to windshield for more than a few minutes. Tried wetting it. Nothing works. Waste of money

Works fine without the GPS
I used the mount a few times with the camera and it stuck pretty well even on a bright, sunny, hot windshield. For temporary use and movement between vehicles it should work fine BUT you can't attach the camera to the mount without removing the GPS.I eventually modified it hold the A119 and it's GPS but that proved to be too heavy for the suction cup on bumpy roads.

Clean windshield first, then attach.
I attached it first without cleaning the windshield and it fell down.I cleaned the windshield and tried again. It did fall down one or two more times before I got the hang of how it works. After that I took it on a 3000 mile road trip and it stayed up every day (I took it down at night)My suggestion is this: the first time you use it, use a twist-tie attached to the mirror as a safety strap to keep the camera from breaking when it falls. Or keep at the base of the windshield instead of the top.

puts the suck in suction!
I think I returned this. it puts the suck in suction. kept falling off. if I wanted something to keep falling off...but I don't, so why go there?

Does not stay mounted longer than 2 minutes.
Unfortunately, this just does not work at all with the VIOFO A119 V3. I cleaned the glass and cup with 70% isopropyl alcohol, waited for them to dry, then mounted. It fell within a minute. I tried putting some water in the cup as I mounted it (this works for other suction cups), same failure. Bummer, I did not want to have to use the adhesive tape to mount to my windshield. The suction cup mount that I used for my previous dashcam, which I used in the same spot, in the same car, did not have this problem.

Works well
Not exactly the same one I ordered before. You have to remove the GPS module to attach it to the camera. Luckily I do not need gps on this camera as I am just using it in town.
