WHAT I LIKE MOST: Perfect size, rounded corners. Thin lines (for more refined writing and skipping a line), 40 sheets are about perfect (I don't like them too bulky for carrying in my purse) I like the off-white color, and I love the pocket in the back (it's great for keeping up with receipts, etc.) I love the sewn binding ( It lies flat, so I don't have force it stay open!) SUGGESTIONS: It would be nice to have about a quarter inch margin on both sides of the pages. The the price could be a little lower, and it would be nice if they came in more colors, e.g. navy, gray, pastels, etc.

I'm a systems analyst/administrator and I used these books to keep track of my hours. They're not too expensive but yet very high quality.

I bought these for a sign in book at an art show and it worked perfectly. They are a convenient size, the paper is smooth and takes writing tools well, the back pocket is very sturdy, and the color looks even better in person. Highly recommend!

I dislike writing (or diagramming etc.) on lined/ruled pages, and it can be challenging to find blank notebooks or writing-books with quality paper. Moleskine always delivers. Creamy, smooth, thick-enough off-white paper that’s a pleasure to write or draw on, bound neatly in sturdy volumes, for reasonable prices.Delivered on time in perfect condition.

I got these, the small Rhodia notebooks, and the Field Notes notebooks to evaluate for daily use. So this review is kind of a comparison also.I'm a senior controls engineer and keeping things in my large notebook has become difficult with all of the moving about that I do. Carrying a small notebook in my backpocket has been the best option I've found so far. I was a long time lover of Moleskine (for personal use), but mixed it up with this assortment of purchases.1) Field Notes - when I got all three notebooks, this was my favorite at first. The paper is possibly the highest grade (shocking, right?) but the giant "FIELD NOTES" printed on the front wore on me over time. Now I use these for carrying during a hike. I record a few key things just for fun and tracking. I can't recommend these highly enough for outdoor use. They're super rugged, the paper is ultra-high-quality, and they size is perfect. Workers perfectly with my Sharpie Pen with no bleeding or show-through.2) Moleskine Journals - This is what I ultiamtely ended up carrying for work. Paper is second only to the Field Notes notebook and even there it's close. The pages are perforated and the notebook has a tiny folder in the back for holding loose pages. This makes carrying it all the nicer. I don't have to keep a grand organizational scheme; I write and then sort it out later. Sharpie Pen doesn't bleed or show-through. Cover is unmarked (apart from a small bit of embassed text on the back). The cover is pretty durable, but not nearly as rugged as the Field Notes' cover.3) Rhodia Pocket Notebook - I wanted to like these but the size is slightly too small. The cover is plain paper. And, althoguh some disagree, the paper quality was the worst. I had slight show-through from my Sharpie Pen but not bleeding. I don't have much else to say about this one since I've used it so little.

These notebooks are fine for everyday journals but are bound in a fairly lightweight cardstock, not the heavier cardstock with a bit of gloss to it like more expensive Moleskine Cahiers. The paper seems exactly the same. I've used several of the XL size with the faux leather cover and on all of them my fountain pen ink bleeds through in tiny dots. It doesn't make the other side illegible, but it isn't a fresh clean page either. I use either a Parker pen with medium nib or a Lamy Al Star with medium nib, and inks from Birmingham Pen Company or Pelikan or Parker Squink or Pilot Iroshizuku. All bleed through the same (see image for a light colored green ink).I think these are fine for a workbook of short-term use - like I'm using for "morning pages" a la Julia Cameron (I actually think loose leaf copy paper is a better solution) and to write reflections for her books Seeking Wisdom and Listening Path. For what they cost, I don't think the pages should bleed at all. I use other notebooks for work and they don't bleed and cost the same, but they have a weighty binding that isn't necessary for this purpose. I like the soft portability of Moleskine.

These are my favorite journals. I work remotely and have a lot going on. They are so easy to use for the different prejects, notes and instructions I need handy.

I bought these because I wanted organized note taking and to be able to put it on my bookshelf after I’m done, and of course Moleskin had the answer. I use a Pilot v2 for my notetaking for tech certifications so I write a lot and a lot fast. There has been no bleed through with this pen, and the notebook has proven to be durable. Will repurchase!

These has very good paper to write on,sheets are detachable and very good quality.

I buy these over and over again as they stand up great to daily abuse and second half of the books have rippable pages. Small enough to fit in a pocket or small case and come in various types. Great buy
