Great product. I got what I needed. Although, for those who are going to buy this, just be aware that it's not a large bag so if you are going to end up using this for the big stuff, you are going to need to buy more.

This is good stuff but, the price for these little bags . For that i give it 4 stars. If it could give it 3.5 stars i would for it he price per package. So you get 4 bc I like the product . I might get another bag.

Fine not chunky
I needed a fine horticultural charcoal for a succulent terrarium. I returned 2 others that were like wood chips. this one was sufficiently fine to be able to be sprinkled. It was more expensive, but it was the only one thatthat was fine. Potting soil covered the charcoal in the photo.

Very fine pieces
This is extremely fine--almost like coffee grounds. It would work for small plants with very fine roots.
