Q: How bright is it on maximum setting (compare to traditional bulbs)

there are plenty of settings with a 'warm' muted light and 'cold' stark blue light options. Plus the proximity of the light to wherever you are locating yourself will affect how bright you think the light is. I have it attached to my desk and illuminating my keyboard, and it's more than bright enough. As far as a comparison to 'normal' bulbs, that depends what you use normally. But as a functional, adjustable source of light, I use just one of the two lamps and that more than sufficient.

there LED so very little but don't waste your money on them they are cheap rubbish

I plug it into my adapter then plug it into the mains usually, but on the odd occasion I have used a 10000mah power bank
