I tend to fall on pavement at high speed more often than most people. If you are a biker, inline skater, skateboarder, etc., eventually you are going to get a very deep brush burn. If you are lucky enough that these bandages will cover the wound you will heal beautifully. If your brush burn is too large use Spenco 2nd Skin Moist Burn Pads which have no adhesive and can be placed side by side.These smaller Curad Sooth & Cool Burn Bandages have the advantage of having an adhesive backing so they self stick. Although, my one criticism of these is that the adhesive border around the gel bandage isn't big enough.Use baby shampoo to clean the wound, it doesn't sting and you can do a good job of getting debris out of the skin. Use a small amount of antiseptic cream directly over the wound. Read the instructions for the bandages there are two sides to the bandage. First remove the wound side and place over the wound then remove the outer protective cover. Smooth edges. If the wound is clean and there are no signs of infection, the bandage should be left on for a few days. Clean and repeat until you have skin where the wound was.Finally, have you had a tetanus shot? You have three days to get one!

Got a burn blister on my chest from putting a hand warmed in my shirt. It was larger than the size of a quarter. It was cold in NYC but oh well I have to deal with the burnt.This is one of the few things I used exclusively to treat my wound. Alcohol, cotton, this, and an additional water proof film.When the wound was raw and bloody, I put this baby directly over it after cleaning it with warm soupy water and alcohol. I leave it there for 3 days each time. I also put an additional waterproof film on top because my wound was quite large and I moved around a lot. The extra film was just there for extra protection.This bandage worked like magic. My wound healed beautifully. I didn’t need to put any thing to treat it. I could take a bath and exercise without hurting the wound. It took 3 weeks for my wound to completely heal. It didn’t even have a scar!!! The skin around my wound where the bandage was is completely fine. No irritation or rashes. I am so happy with this product and I wished I knew this is how you treat wounds to not get a scar. I would recommend everyone to do this if needed.Best product for treating a “large” wound.

These are the best! Im a chef and i keep these on hand. You can cover a burn and wear these for a cpl days before changing them while doing everyday things, yes, even a shower

These do a great job of covering burns and even itchy bites once they are firmly attached to your skin. That isn't easy. The outside edge is very flimsy and needs absolutely dried skin to stick to adequately. Once on well, they do last for days, even for me who is a klutz and loses everything. The cooling is really nice. We will buy these again.

This is the GREATEST thing to have if you do crafts and use a glue gun. As soon as I burn myself I put this on. It does not blister. If I wait and not use ASAP it will blister

The only issue I have with it is that I wish it was a little bigger. It's my own fault for not realizing the wound was a little larger than the bandage when I ordered it.I still made it work and it's staying on beautifully for 3 days so far. I love that I can see the wound underneath the clear bandage and no if there any issues.I can see it healing.Since it's covered up there's no pain.

My husband burned the tip of his finger so bad the skin peeled off leaving it raw. I know this sounds disgusting but once I put this bandage on the pain stopped within a minute. Bandage keeps the area clean and dry. Great product.

I keep these around just in case of kitchen burns. I had to use it on a burn from from a hot cast iron skillet. I could see a blister trying to get started. I put the bandage on for a few hours. The bandage came off earlier than I wanted. That's about the only complaint I have about this bandage. I've used other bandages that stick much better than this one.But the bandage did a good job on the minor burn I had. The next day I can see a mark which will probably go away after more time. But there is no pain from the burn spot. I didn't take a star off for the weak adhesion it had.
