Best Strings for Ovations
These are the only strings I use on my ovations. Great sounding and I can hear when it's time to change them. Put on new strings and I love my Ovations again. Don't like them on my Martin or my Fenders, but nothing works better, longer on my Plastic Girls.

Great quality Medium Guage Guitar strings
for any one who wants to know the string guage sizes:E: .056 A: .047 D: .035 G: .025 B: .016 E: .013Adamas are a product owned by Ovation Guitars so I can only assume that they use them on their own Guitar which is a good reccommendation on its own.A great price for good quality guitar strings which have breathed new life into my old 1970s Harmony Acoustic .being quite a heavy guage they are ideal for downtuning without loosing tension and resolution

Best for an Ovation
These are the only strings to use on an Ovation guitar. I have a 1980s Legend and no other strings sound as good. Its the only string that makes my Ovation sound great. I don't use them on any of my other guitars, because if you notice each guitar has a different range and voice that needs to be heard. I tried them on my D35 and I did not care for them as much. They last well, and you can hear when it's time to change them. If my Ovation doesn't put a smile on my face when I pick it up, it's time for new strings. Then it sounds perfect again.

New life to an old guitar...
Had some cheaper D’Addario lightweights on my 30 year old Ovation, and while the guitar made them playable there was something “off.” So doing a little research I came across this brand as being used by the company themselves, so I went ahead and got the medium strings. Holy cow the difference the right strings make! The tone is bright without being “tinny” and every string has a nice long, deep sustain when played. They’re a little pricier than the D’Addario strings, but the extra penny was worth it. Can’t wait for the strings to really settle in.

Poor quality control wrong strings in package
Adamas in the past year have stopped color coding strings, they are just all together in a clear plastic bag. I was sent a set of medium gauge guitar strings that had two high e strings and no b string. This is the second time this had happened in the past year and although I have faithfully used and recommended these strings for the past 30+ years I will never buy them again because of this careless quality control issue that is largely because of the cost cutting change in packaging. I verified the two high strings were exactly the same with a micrometer.
