Great salt, great taste great quality and super convenient at a good value. I use this for everything including boiling pasta water and eggs. At this price point it is affordable to use for everything yet high enough quality to use for the best foods. I think I prefer Redmonds salt in terms of taste just a little more than this one but not worth the 10X price tag

I purchased this to refill my salt grinder. The jar is bigger than I expected (pleasantly surprised). The salt works well with my salt grinder with good flavor too.

Worth the money, and get the benefits of the taste and minerals the bag is the weight it was stated and health of good salt is what I look for

I purchased this to use in my salt grinder and it works great! It grinds down to a nice thin consistency. The salt seems very fresh and nice and pink in color. This jar is much larger than I was expecting and will last us a very long time. We have already had it 6+ months and we are not even half way through this container.

Let me start off by saying that I know this product isn't very expensive, especially when I consider how much salt I am getting. So, with that being said I understand that it won't be the best tasting salt in the world. Usually, Himalayan salt has that salty taste that you get from salt but it isn't an overpowering flavor. It's typically enough to season your food and give it that extra bit of flavor and texture. This Himalayan salt isn't bad but it is a bit closer to iodized salt, almost like a very concentrated iodized salt. Each crystal is packed with that saltiness but because this is a coarse grind it tastes like there is a tablespoon of Morton's iodized salt in each crystal. The benefit to this really was just that you could season your meats with just a few pinches of salt and it doesn't require much. The issue is that if you aren't careful with your seasoning and you get just a bit too much crystal on a part of your meat you'd better pucker up because that piece will be the saltiest thing you'll ever eat. If you every used Diamond's kosher salt you'll know that there is quite a difference in the way that salt tastes to iodized salt. Kosher salt tastes less intense and the coarseness of the crystals help to get a good grip and spread the salt more evenly. This salt is a bit coarser than your typical kosher salt but the issue lies not just in your ability to spread the salt but in the salt’s taste. This Himalayan salt is extremely overpowering. I mean each crystal is so salty that you really are overwhelmed. I advise that if you use this salt that you season very conservatively because you will ruin your food.

I have these wonderful electric salt and pepper grinders that I just love. Freshly ground salt and pepper tastes so much better than regular salt and pepper, and I like buying both in large containers, so whenever they need to be refilled, I always have enough.

I really like this Salt. I add it to water for it's electrolytes. It's full of all the minerals your bady needs to keep going. I put it in an electronic grinder shaker and it grinds it nice so it dissolves quickly in the water. I also add it to my food as well. Great/healthy way to get your minerals and add tast to your food.
